I trust Peters.  He was one of the better LT's this year.

Justice is probably going to get molly wopped though, especially since he's not at 100%

MMH

Most of us are calling for his head now, knowing where this is going.

its really not that far fetched

1. the eagles already killed atlanta, who played like a bunch of Hoydas in their 1 big game this year @ home against NO - they beat baltimore at home and they lost to the eagles on the road a 100 years ago when the eagles defense didnt have 9 7th round draft picks and UDFA playing for it

2. the eagles could have would have should have beaten the bears, whose quarterback is jay cutler - they eagles got worked by the bears...why does atlantas loss to the eagles favor the birds and the eagles loss to the bears also favor the eagles

3. the seahawks suck - irrelevant since they will be eliminated this week

4. the saints have been riding their superbowl victory all year long...so clearly not the same team and there is no absolutely no reason to think theyll get it back. since week 12: barely got by dallas, barely got by cinci, solid if unspectacular home win against the rams, loss @ bal, gift win @ atl, loss at home to tampa. what about this team scares anyone other than what they did 1 year ago? - lol...so atlanta sucks cause the saints got a gift win in the georgia dome but the saints also suck cause they won at the georgia dome?

5. mike vick nearly beat the packers by himself....and this team could barely squeak past a half interested bears team with their season on the line at home. - and mike vick lost to the vikings in a super important game a week ago

this is an all time homer post...its destroys anything j has ever written....if you wanna say the eagles have as good a chance as any team in the nfc you would still be wrong but it would have been whatever...however the amount of just awful meaningless shtein you put out there combined with as far fetched tranisitive property rules ive ever seen makes this spadaro like

I don't think even Spadaro would go that far.

I don't see this line stopping Matthews. It'll be interesting to see if Vick can elude him.

He'll be coming in from Vick's blindside

No one is trembling at the knees, but the guy is one of the best defensive players in the game, if not the best at his position in only his second year. You say he's had only two sacks the last six games, but he's still been making plays all over the field. Also, the last three games have been against the Giants, Pats and Bears. All those teams have better a better o-line than that Eagles. You can try to game plan for him, it remains to be seen if it works. And it's not as simple as overloading the right side when you're talking the Eagles vs the Packers. The Eagles can't stop any team one on one straight up.

That's very debateable...the Bears are one of the two (I think) teams that have given up more sacks than the Eagles

not really a fair comparison when one team has the best running qb ever and the other has low iq jib faced statue

mathews comes from every direction...they line him up all over the field depending on the look they are giving defensively...in fact i would expect him to come from vicks left more often then not so he will force vick to run to his off hand side

Reid has never and will never game plan for a single player. Even in game when a player is getting destroyed (See Demarcus Ware yesterday) he doesn't adjust. Plan on seeing Matthews come from Vicks right and Woodson coming from his left. GB is going to contain the ends like every team has done, occassionally bring pressure up the middle, and drop their safeties back. Reid will still have Vick dropping back 7 yards, running for his life and throwing it 40 yards downfield. Monday he'll say "this ones on me" and everyone here will be calling for his head.

The best running QB ever is sacked 1 out of every 6 times he drops back. Vick may be mobile but he's always taken a lot of sacks. Without necessarily comparing the Eagles to the Bears, both teams have zesty offensive lines.

Matthews lines up on the defensive left side; just seems like he's all over the field

Rome

If the Eagles didn't have Vick they would have at least 20 more sacks against.

Tomahawk

Maybe...another QB probably throws the ball away instead of trying to run with it and getting tripped up for a half yard loss.

Vick has almost competely reverted back to his Hotlanta form. If the first read isn't open, he's running. Seems like he lost his new found accuracy too

the eagles probably would set the all time record for sacks allowesd if vick wasnt their qb....i guess you missed all the sacks he avoided this year...its not even up for debate that the bears line is better than the eagles..then again there arent to many lines in the nfl worse than the eagles...lucily they ahve a magician at qb and great skill players all around to bail them out

and matthews probably lines up more on the left because its most qb's blind side...but watch him play and youll also see him come up the middle a ton and come from the right side as well...in fact he made the pro bowl last year playing the right side...i believe they moved him more to the left this year so he would be opposite jenkins...either way i would be shocked if they didnt use him to move vick right in this game

no, most qb's blind side is from the right not left--unless you think the majority of the leagues qb's are left handed

The Bears oline is awful, though Mike Martz has finally adjusted his strategy.....something AR and Morningwood refuse to do.  The Bears have ran a lot of max protect.
