Offense needs to show a new face next week. If they think they will have time to set up the big play on Clay and the Pack D, Reid should be canned right after the game. They will be sending the house at Vick early and often just like every team we've played since Chicago. All I have to say is they better establish a run game, utilize the screen and call quick passing plays. Count DJack to be double teamed and Maclin to be the main target. McCoy and Harrison all day please, anything to keep the ball out of Rodgers hands...and we pray  :evil

The Packers are overrated on offense.  Driver is a role player, they have no running back, and their line is only maybe a slight notch ahead of the Eagles' swiss cheese line.  That said Rodgers is legit so they are still dangerous - not to mention the Eagles are not particularly good on defense, to say the least.

On the other side of the ball, no defense can stop this offense from scoring 27-30 points... but as we learned against Minnesota, this offense can stop itself from scoring a lot.  That said I see the Eagles putting up about that.

So, will it come down to special teams?  Maybe.  The good news is that an opposing kicker finally missed a long FG against the team yesterday, so there is hope.

Rome

I don't see why anyone is afraid of the Packers.  I want no part of the Saints.

Don Ho

Drew Brees may be dead by next week due to his head exploding in anticipation of throwing for 500+ yards and 8 TDs against the Seahawks.

MURP

Packers lack of run game means the Eagles should be able to focus on getting pressure on Rodgers and double teaming WR's if needed.

which can only mean Brandon Jackson will rush for 200 yards.

saints are humongous frauds

not that the eagles are amazing but the nfc is absolutely wide open to the 5 teams in the playoffs
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Nothing says fraud quite like defending champs.

MDS

terrific....they were great in 2009

but its a new year and this time around they are losing at home to cleveland and tampa bay

again the eagles arent ringing me with confidence but ill take my chances with them outdoors in the cold over chicago or green bay

The Packers defense is second in the NFL in Points Allowed, Interceptions, and Sacks.

Their offense is 10th in Points Scored and 8th in 3rd Down Conversion %

I don't want any part of either team. Neither run the ball and the Eagles can't stop anybody from passing on them.

Drunkmasterflex

I agree with MDS on this there is a 5 team race in the NFC any one of those teams could make it to the SB and no one would be surprised.

QB Eagles

The Saints at least want to run the ball more. If they start off the playoffs with three healthy RBs (Thomas, Ivory, Bush), I think you'll see a lot more rushing than what they were doing late in the season.

McCarthy doesn't really give a shtein about rushing. In fact, on game day he's basically indistinguishable from Reid, retarded clock management and all.

Rome

Unless the eagles dramatically improve on defense they have no shot.
