the problem is the money they have wrapped up in some of those guys. Though i would build a team from the goalie out. You can make up for having a decent goalie if you have a good top 6 as we saw. I just dont think Mezaros is worth 4mill a year, but Tampa Bay sucks the life out of dmen so maybe he'll have a Carle like change in his game.

They also have only 1.8 million left in cap room, so i think you'll see Gagne traded, or Carter. Gotta be a guy who's making big coin.

Also I love Gagne but if they're going to trade someone, he's the dude I'd rather see let go. I hate Carter's weeping beef curtains but they need young scoring talent and that's exactly what he is.

So, um, does Kimmo get moved? Would anyone even take him? Seems like a lot of money tied up in defensemen but I don't really know anything about the NHL salary cap so screw you.
