Who would you like to see go first?  Mcnabb, and see if a more accurate qb can take reids offense over the top.  Or Reid, and see if a different coach's offense can make Mcnabb into a championship level qb.  Or fuck it and get rid of both?

and this is proven how ? by the ability the have shown to handle the same type of situations throughout their careers ?

it cant be proven nor can saying brady wouldnt win on the eagles...which is what makes the argument really sad and pathetic in trying to defend donovan...i mean really thats the best you can come up with

reese is right tho as far as the wager...is there any sane person on this board who wouldnt put their money on brady in that bet

my point was the same that you just made twinkletoes, that it can't proven one way or the other. so both sides of that arguement are pathetic and really do nothing but derail the real issue which is what we have isn't working, never did and never will.

you put brady or manning in his situations and yes I bet that they come out on top

mind numbingly stupid considering reid trumps anything.

Manning or Brady would have demanded a trade. Actually, Brady would have been a never-was, considering where he was drafted. Manning would have pitched a fit and gotten the hell out of town.

so then you all agree with me that reid is the problem ?

i wanted reid fired probably around 2002 or 2003...i cant even remember exactly when it was now....so dont tell me how bad a coach he is cause i was on his shtein when you wanted him signed to a lifetime contract

I believe you IGY. Really, I do. Point is Reid needs to go and if that means an end to the McNabb era then fine. I am all for it.

The biggest problem with Reid is that he's had the same problems for years and he's improved nothing. The most cliche mantra players spew every week after a loss is "we just have to get better at ___________." Reid hasn't gotten any better and at this point it is safe to say he never will.

McNabb on the other hand might improve with the right coach.  He and Reid tend to mirror each other and if he had a coach that wasn't so uptight, his delicate psyche might nut up. The only thing Reid has ever done to kick McNabb into shape is bench him. That worked, but for some reason I don't see Reid doing that again, especially after paying him apology money.

agree and disagree at the same time.  both reid and mcnabb have had 10 years now to fix their flaws.  reid is a terrible playcaller/in-game coach.  mcnabb can sometimes be the most inaccurate qb ever seen.  i think the difference between the 2 is that reid really doesn't see his flaws as flaws.  he thinks his way is the only way to do things and because of that, never attempts to fix himself.

mcnabb on the other hand, i do believe, has tried to correct his accuracy issues.  but he is what he is.

a new coach won't make mcnabb hit open receivers in stride.  a new coach won't make mcnabb a better "clutch" qb.  mcnabb is possibly the most perplexing athlete i've ever seen because when he's on he is absolutely amazing to watch.  and when he's off, it's like watching a cheeleader try and play quarterback.  and the same could be said about brady or manning.  i've seen them both have amazing games and terrible games.  but the difference when it comes to guys like brady or manning is that for every terrible game they have, they'll have 5 or 6 great games.  but for every bad game mcnabb has, he'll only have 2 or 3 great games to counter.

mcnabb's still my guy though.  i'm a huge fan of his so i'll suffer through his inadaquecies as a qb because i do think that he does have what it takes to win a championship.  the only ? with him is which mcnabb will show up on game day?  i don't think it has as much to do with him being mentally soft in big games, but it's simply a coin flip on which mcnabb will show up for the big game and more often than not, we've seen bad mcnabb.

but really, to expect mcnabb's deficiencies to suddenly disappear with a new hc or oc is a bit silly imo.

i lost my patience with reid when they got beat by tampa in the first game at the linc in 2003.  he had 9 farging months to prepare for the bucs after losing to them in the nfcc game and got blown out of the building.  so farg him.

lol, do you really think that?  they weren't world beaters but they were still very good, smart and above all, had good hands.  troy brown is probably a top 15 favorite of mine.  dude was a true football player and i'll take 53 of him on the eagles any day of the week.

Don't you know the cool thing to do is diminish the Eagle players and prop up the opposing players?!
