Fat Ass or Dumb Ass

Who would you like to see go first?  Mcnabb, and see if a more accurate qb can take reids offense over the top.  Or Reid, and see if a different coach's offense can make Mcnabb into a championship level qb.  Or fuck it and get rid of both?

reid's an idiot.  he can't game plan for his current players.. is a horrible game day coach and is an all around total idiot.  lets see what mcnabb can do with a little more dedication to the run.

I've had it with both of them but if I had to choose I'd rather see Reid take a hike.

He might be the worst game day coach I've ever seen.  I honestly don't see how that fat corksucker has won 100 games in the NFL.

Seabiscuit36

i'm at the point where its time to get them out of here.  Mcnabb i always thought would benefit from not having to throw 50times a game, but it doesnt matter when its crunch time, he always comes up small.

ice grillin you

problem is mcnabbs skills both mental and physical have digressed to the point where he probably cant win a superbowl with any coach and he isnt getting younger...thats not to say reid shouldnt have been outta here for a while but this really would have been a more relevant question five years ago

McNabb can win a superbowl, and by that I mean he can be the quarterback on a superbowl team. He needs to be kept off his ass, surrounded by decent talent, and in an offense with a strong running game. We know his still very capable of flicking passed down the field 50 yards in 7 on 7 drills, but his days cutting his sack total in half are over. I'm still not ready for the Kolb era to start, but the offensive line won't be fixed this year, and maybe not next. McNabb's best years in Philadelphia are behind him because of that more than anything.

Reid, on the other hand, will never win a championship as a head coach. His list of flaws exceeds his list of positive attributes.

The same can be said for every QB in the league sans maybe Manning and Brady. The issue isn't McNabb, the issue is the coaching and this year the offensive line.

McNabb isn't the best, but I'd rather take my chances with him then someone unproven. I still remember 3-13 before McNabb got here...no thanks.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

The biggest problem with Reid is that he's had the same problems for years and he's improved nothing. The most cliche mantra players spew every week after a loss is "we just have to get better at ___________." Reid hasn't gotten any better and at this point it is safe to say he never will.

McNabb on the other hand might improve with the right coach. He and Reid tend to mirror each other and if he had a coach that wasn't so uptight, his delicate psyche might nut up. The only thing Reid has ever done to kick McNabb into shape is bench him. That worked, but for some reason I don't see Reid doing that again, especially after paying him apology money.

the mcnabb homers are so blind its not even funny

he had a good run it just didnt happen. next.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This here. McNabb can win this team a Super Bowl, provided the coach isn't sabotaging him with less than average talent (for the most part), horrible playcalling and game management along the way.

i suppose techinically mcnabb can win a superbowl but so could 20 other quarterbacks in the nfl...people act like mcnabb is some great qb...at this point in his career hes no better or worse than about half the league and is only digressing...small minded idiots like munson think its either mcnabb or 3-13...like there isnt something better than mcnabb out there much less 3-13 if he leaves

and bitch about the coach all you want 1-8-1 in close games over the last year or so is inexcusable and 99% on the qb...basically if the guy has the ball in his hands late in the a game and you need a score youre going to lose...and this is the guy who you want leading you to a superbowl?

changing the coach will not make mcnabb any younger more accurate less injury prone or more clutch....again the time to make a coaching change that would better the qb was when he was 26 or 27....not 34 going into the last year of a contract

basically that

stop coddling mcnabb like the baby that he is and just accept that the fact that its over. hes not winning a superbowl here. or probably anywhere. and itll be good for him. now he can pout and whine and give the half smiles with all the condescension in the world. he loves that stuff.
