so stud left and right tackles for a decade werent good enough?

It was great. In fact, it allowed him to wait all day for mediocre receivers to get open. Hopefully this year's receivers will get open quicker, since there's no way McNabb will have that much time.

The offense should be awesome.

Problem is, the OL is hot garbage.

And when the OL was great, the skill positions were trash.

Pass pass pass punt?

i was thinking....

brad edwards - fans booing - zesty wr's - no pass rush - no pass protection - jake delohomme - WIP - tom brady - bad tackles this year - bad recievers the other year - kurt warner - no running game - injuries - andy reid - mean media - todd pinkston - rush limbaugh - kevin cobb

did i leave anything out im sure you and phreak can come up with something

McNabb has had five cracks at merely winning the NFCCG and walked away with just one win.  How many more shots is that buffoon going to get before the Eagles turn the page and try another tack?

you would do best not to seriously discuss football with 19 year old trailer park chain smoking refugees from delaware

i learned this a long time ago

Yes, except everything I posted was entirely correct. And, on the other hand, the only part of your post you got right was "delaware".

Keep trying, though. You'll get it some day.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

QB Eagles

Paolantonio:

QuoteThe Philadelphia Eagles expect NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to issue a ruling on Michael Vick's possible full re-instatement before Saturday's mandatory league-wide cutdown to the 53-man roster, league sources told ESPN.

Under the conditional re-instatement imposed in July, Vick may not begin playing in regular-season games until Goodell's notification, which must come by Week 6. But Eagles head coach Andy Reid and team president Joe Banner have been in weekly contact with Goodell, updating him on Vick's behavior and progress, while also seeking from the commissioner a clearer understanding of when he will rule on Vick's re-instatement.

Goodell has wide latitude to make a ruling up to Week 6, and he can force Vick to sit out any number of games this season. But it is widely believed that he will allow Vick to return to full-time duty by Week 3, when the Eagles host the Kansas City Chiefs, according to those close to Vick and the Eagles.

Sgt PSN

i figured that he would probably make him sit out until the bye week, so this is only a game off.  on my way home from work yesterday, i was listenting to espn radio and mason and ireland (local la show) said that there were 2 sources stating that the commish was leaning towards letting him suit up opening day.  no idea how accurate that is though.

btw.....la sports radio loves beating up on philly/philly fans.  rarely does a day go by that i don't hear something philly related.

Seabiscuit36

How'd the dodgers do last year....LA Romes

I wouldnt be surprised if he suits up on opening day.  According to Sal Pal Goddell is talking to him at least once a week to see how its going, so i have to imagine Goddell might go soft on him.

SunMo

eligible to play in Week 3 according to ESPN news
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

I'm going to go ahead and hope he breaks an ankle between now and then. Not because I don't like him, even though I don't, but because it'll be funny.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Offense will look great first two weeks, suck the 3rd week, McNabb says something truthful about it in the press conference, and people like IGY who rip McNabb for always towing the company line and not telling the truth/speaking his mind, will rip him for telling the truth/speaking his mind and weeks of controversy will ensue.

Okay, I've saved us about 20 pages of arguments.
