We held a candle light vigil last night at the linc in honor of JJ. At one point during the vigil a cool breeze blew past my back and blew one of the candles out, it was as though Jim was right there with us. As I was driving home, myself and my fellow Eagles fans were patting each other on the back and telling ourselves how great of people we were to do a memorial like this for someone we never knew. I thought to myself, this night will go a long way in healing my wounds. Then I saw a black truck with an Eagles flag waving from one of its windows, the first 3 letters of the license plate were JJD. It was then that I burst out in tears. My fellow fans tried to console me and tell me it was going to be okay, but it didn't help. Goodbye Jim, you will be forever missed and loved. For every time an Eagle gets a sack or makes a big play we know you'll be smiling.

I just don't get this reference:

What makes him a bad person? What the farg are you talking about? :sly

if you're indicating that the outcome of eagles games/seasons doesn't have even a slight impact on your life, then you're full of ish.

I think Dio had the day off and ATV was filling in with the 'good riddance' note. But, like you, I also do not understand this reference. Good riddance should apply only to people I no longer want to see alive. I was pulling for this one to kick cancer's ass in the butthole.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05
