If Jim Johnson had been some no name no one would care, but since he coached for the Eagles that elevates his life to a more worthy status, but not so high as to be more important than Brett Favre's decision to stay retired.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Quotehe was an old due who had cancer.

Berating the life of someone who died young is less worse than berating the life of someone who died old?

Just checking in again. It's fortunate I get cell reception in hell. Jim says hi.

I'm perfectly comfortable mocking every last person who mourns the death of a farging football coach. Jim Johnson is no different than any other person that has died today, yesterday, last week, or last year. If Jim Johnson had been some no name no one would care, but since he coached for the Eagles that elevates his life to a more worthy status. You didn't know him, you never would've known him, you simply liked him because he coached football well.

I wish Jim Johnson would die of cancer every week..it makes my post-work reading a hundred times better.

i wonder if you'd have the same opinion if obama had a fatal heart attack tonight.

jim johnson was a public figure.  he coached a defense that we eagles fans enjoyed watching every week for nearly a decade.  he had a small, but impactful role on many of our lives in one way, shape or form.  the fact that none of us had a personal relationship with him is irrelevent.  we admired his work and will miss the impact he had on a team that we love.

nothing at all wrong with paying some respects to the recently departed.  hopefully you'll soon have your very own entry in our dead thread.

I don't have that opinion. I'm simply copying and pasting from the things you morons on here wrote after Sean Taylor died.

Sean Taylor was a public figure. He played in a defense that taterskins fans enjoyed watching every week for three years.  He had a small, but impactful role on many of their lives in one way, shape or form.  The fact that none of them had a personal relationship with him is irrelevent. They admired his work and will miss the impact he had on a team that they love.

he got shot in the dick, similar to how your mom died

Big difference:
Us: "That sucks, I have some good memories of that dude."
Them, text-posting to a message-board: "I can't stop crying, I will love you forever Sean!"
Life is all in the nuances, man.

Hey ATV...

Don't compare JJ dying to the tripe your brothers at ES were and still are spewing about Taylor. No one here is going to post threads saying how they break down in tears when they watch hit videos of Johnson. Nor will they talk about how much of a role model Johnson was.

farg yourself.

winner.  then again, we're all arguing with one of the biggest tools this board has ever seen over nuances.

fail.  each and every one of us.

If Jim Johnson were 24 years old, had a young family, and played pro-bowl defense for the Eagles then of course there would have been a lot more emotional investment. Similarly, if it were Don Breaux of the taterskins that died - An old long-time fart-crust of a coach, then of course it wouldn't have been nearly as tragic.

These "nuances" are beside the point though. The point is that most of your are classless morons who can't recognize hypocrisy when it's right beneath your nose. But that's alright - There's still plenty of time. I'm here to help.

why cant you get in shot in the dick or get cancer?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ATV

Because I no longer live in North Philadelphia?

WTF Shawn springs was young and I could give  shtein about his dead ass. Go the farg away and leave us to remember him before you bring in another "top notch" free agent and fail to make the palyoffs or a difference again.

ATV=skins fail

ATV

A) Shawn Springs is still alive.
B) I don't own or manage the taterskins.
