he had absolutely no part in drafting players

a certain type of player (ie small quicker type tackles) may have been sought out by andy and heckert for his defense but the actual players chosen had zero input from jj...he was a coach not a scout

Im having a real hard time believing that when it comes to picking up players on HIS defense in the draft, jim johnson was not sitting around the table giving major feedback that would alter their decision-making in the player chosen

you dont know how the eagles machine runs then...jj wasnt in on scouting meetings and looking at film of linebackers from north dakota state...you think he was yelling at andy to take a defensive end that dropped in round one...andy didnt even know who he was going to take most times...jim johnson wasnt in the war room on draft day...he was fly fishing somewhere in idaho

did sometime in the last ten years maybe in passing andy asked jim about a player...but what they really did together was evaluate the current eagles roster together to see who needed to be replaced...naturally jj was in on that big time...but when it came to drafting a replacement...he had little to nothing to do with it...certainly not even close to enough to blame him for draft picks...thats so ludicrous i cant even believe we are talking about it

again andy would try and find players that fit jim johnsons defensive system...same as he tries to find guys that fit his offense...but beyond that jj wasnt involved in PP issues...even people in nova scotia know this

Who cares?

I don't mind to see bad things happen to bad people.  Now he's gone.  Let me be the first to say good riddance.

If my mother died. I would be upset. I wouldn't expect strangers who never met her to be upset.

No dude. He had no input. He was barely even there. He was sitting on the beach planning how to blitz opposing QBs with mystery players that he had never heard of.

Obviously.

JJ: "Yo Andy...who did you pick up?"

Reid: "Awwe...I got some good ones this year."

JJ: "Cool..Ill do my best."

I kind of care slappy because it could very well affect the wins/losses of the Eagles--another team I kind of care about--just a little

I also don't care about strangers dying. But to call JJ a bad person seems a little bit out-of-left-field. Of course we're talking about ATV so we should expect this type of idiocy.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

One is PR bull from the team. The other is fan-made photoshop hilarity.

That being said, I was once touched by this coaching angel. He tried to put his finger in my A gap.

Just checking in again. It's fortunate I get cell reception in hell. Jim says hi.

I'm perfectly comfortable mocking every last person who mourns the death of a farging football coach. Jim Johnson is no different than any other person that has died today, yesterday, last week, or last year. If Jim Johnson had been some no name no one would care, but since he coached for the Eagles that elevates his life to a more worthy status. You didn't know him, you never would've known him, you simply liked him because he coached football well.

I wish Jim Johnson would die of cancer every week..it makes my post-work reading a hundred times better.

no one here is farging sobbing over jj. it sucks to see him go. he wasnt a thug moron with a machete. he was an old due who had cancer. stop it.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
