Again, and I can't believe this is the 4th installment in this crappy game.  As a shake up for this season, the bands have been divided by eras, rather than the general mixing we've had in seasons past.  We'll see how it runs this way.

As always, the first round will be ~24 hours M-F.  Once I get to the second round, I may try to speed things up by doing 2 regions each day, again leaving them up for ~24 hours.

I didn't make the seeds - I've plagerized them from a local radio station.

Here we go with the

A Region

1) The Who
16) Jethro Tull

8 ) The Beatles
9) CCR

5) Rolling Stones
12) Cream

4) Jimi Hendrix
13) Allman Brothers

6) Alice Cooper
11) Grateful Dead

3) Eric Clapton
14) Bad Comapny

7) Deep Purple
10) Bob Dylan

2) Ted Nugent
15) The Doors

CCR got jobbed on that matchup.  They're hella better than Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Deep Purple, Bad Company, and Jethro Tull.

incidentally...do you care how we post them?  would you rather we just list the choice, or list them both and bold the selection?

no cares about that.  It takes just a minute or two to count them either way.

BTW -- I agree with the CCR seeding being BS.  I am not a fan of teh Beatles, but I can't argue with the fact that they are going to win that round, thus screwing CCR.
