It doesn't look like CCR will lose this round, which makes no sense.  I guess people here think of the Beatles as oldies music or something, not rock and roll.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I voted for CCR because the Beatles are overrated.

I voted for the Allman Brothers to be a contrarian and because Hendrix is overrated.

I voted for Alice Cooper because he's a cool guy and because The Grateful Dead might just be the most overrated band in history.

I voted for Ted Nugent over The Doors because he's insane and hilarious, and Jim Morrison's dead... and the Doors are overrated.

I see a theme.

I think we need to do the same but with more up to date bands.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED, that you would do Uncle Ted like that.

I love Uncle Ted but he has his place in the grand scheme of things. The Doors are over rated but they're music is more significant then Uncle Ted's despite being over rated.

This is only the first bracket.  As the brackets go up, the bands become more current.

No one, other than KISS, is better than Ted Nugent.

Ive only ever heard one Ted Nuggent song that I liked. And that Stranglehold. Quite possibly the awesomest song ever create. I love that fargin song. Even the best song in the universe doesn't beat all the great mediocre songs the Doors had by itself. I never got into KISS either. So that could be the problem, I didn't like a lot of rock from that era.
