That ain't the case.  I'll be screaming and cheering as loud as anyone else if the Eagles go and pull out a win in NY... but I'm not going to sit here and lie to myself about their chances if recent trends don't point to them being successful.

Recent trends also point to Eli Manning being a little Hoyda, and the Eagles defense playing a little bit better then they have been (yardage aside). Yards don't win games, points do. And right now the Eagles defense is doing just enough to allow the offense to score more then the other team.

I'm going to be screaming at the TV all day long. Should be an awesome game.

Maybe Akers can kick a game winning FG or something, for old times sake.

Ive read every post in this thread so far (not sure why), and you just dont get it. Saying the Eagles D sucks doesnt make you a bad fan. It makes you an educated fan....and even that is debatable bacause my 3 year old cousin could tell me how bad the D has been this year. 

You can go on thinking your SuperFan and continue to preach your ridiculus views about this team, but do us all a favor - take off the green glasses and watch the game objectively on Sunday. If the team plays like it has been over the past few weeks, I cant imagine you'll have the same views.

As idiotic as Munson is, he did manage to say something that holds water.  The Skins doubled up the Eagles in yards last week and the Eagles still won. 

While I'm sure that statistically, gaining more yards than your opponents increases the odds of you winning, it's not written in stone.  And it's true, points are the only thing that matters at the end of the game.

Having said that, Munson is still a flamming idiot and I'm certain that his actually saying something that makes a little sense was nothing more than a mental mistake on his part.
