earlier in this thread, a smart cat said that neither of these teams deserves ANY credit for anything good that's happened to them.

both teams are weak, both suck, neither of them deserve to play post season games at all, etc.

bickering over which sucks less is teh stoopid

I'm not quite sure any team in the NFC deserves a post-season game, besides the Saints and Bears. Maybe the Cowboys, but it looks like the NFL might have caught up to Romo.

Should be some exciting playoff games. :crazy

I would love nothing more to see Romo choke like a dog going down the stretch but I'd hardly say that 1 bad game against the most well balanced team in the NFC  means that the entire NFL has figured him out.

Rome

We are totally gonna win this weekend.   That is incredibly intuitive.

DH

Eagles = Slightly below average
Giants = Slighly above average

Giants 24 - 19

Some of the people around here are idiots.

Check his numbers against the vaunted Giants defense as well. He hasn't done too well for a couple of weeks now. ;)

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

It is going to be fun watching Brandon Jacobs run through our undersized front 7.

Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...

Jacobs is the least of my worries. I don't even look at him as a threat. He's big so the media overhypes him...but if you watch him play you know he's nothing special. He has too much height to play the postion,  he leaves his midsection open and goes down pretty easy. He doesn't even break tackles well. Tiki on the other hand is going to run through our D like a hot knife through butter.

BlueHeart

Actually, SD, other than last week where he was shut down, he's been playing really well. He's broken off some sick ass runs by just plowing over people.

I watch him every week and he's yet to impress me, the only reason he gets so much attention is because of his size. He's a very poor running back tool-wise. I'd rather have a short yardage back who is stout and can put his head down and plow ahead.

Jacobs' career won't be long.  He presents too much of a target; defenders put a licking on him much easier than they do a normal sized RB.

I disagree.  Size doesn't matter.

I am gonna agree with Munson that the Eagles can win this game.

                                            G-Men          OPP
TOTAL RUSHING YARDS         1724          1305

TOTAL PASSING YARDS          2635          3040

The Eagles have been able to stop Tiki many times in the past and win.  They do still allow him to get off some really long runs, but over all limit his effectiveness.  This year they are Out Rushing the opposition by 400 yards, but are also getting Passed on by almost that same amount.

Garcia should be getting comfortable in throwing, which means he may throw his 1st INT this week.  Hopefully, it will be only one or none at all.  I think this is the week him and Stallworth hook up for some big plays.  Westbrook is about to break the 1000 yard barrier and Reid better darn well allow him to gain as much as possible! >:(

Just like in the Cold War.  It didn't matter how big you Nuclear Missiles were, but how you deployed them...
JJ hasn't deployed shtein lately in any straight forward and effective way, and each time he has gambled on the full onslaught, he has been got.

But this isn't nuclear war and any female would tell you different.  ::)  She would probably tell you that you have to work twice as hard and that is what the Eagles D will have to do differently the next 2 weeks.
