Quayle didn't get Bush Sr. one extra vote.  Cheney didn't do shtein to extend the voter base for Bush Jr.  Obama should probably just pick an unremarkable white guy like Evan Bayh and consider it done.  As for McCain, he just needs to pick someone that isn't also a geezer, but someone that isn't significantly more exciting than him (Jindal).  He'll probably pick Crist or Romney.

I've previously said I don't care about Obama's politics, I just want someone not named Bush or Clinton. McCain appears to be an extension of Bush, something I do not want. Hillary is, in fact, named Clinton, ruling her out for me. If she somehow gets the VP nod, I'm not voting for Obama. I have not lived a single year of my life without a Bush or Clinton in one of those two offices, and I'm sick of it.

Ask yourself the question, why would he? Would it be because there are no other more worthy candidates out there? NO! If he did, it would be for the sole purpose of getting the votes of all those bitter women out there, no other reason at all. It would mean he is just doing anything to get elected. It would make him look like a bigger flipflopper than Mcain.

At least it would to anyone with a brain bigger than a bee-bee.

Actually, bitter women aren't his problem.  Blue collar working class people are.  And after the stupid shtein Obama said, I can't support him.  He just doesn't have the diplomatic chops yet.

Besides, the Dems will almost certainly retain both houses.  That makes McCain the best bet.  Then nothing will happen, which after all is the best case scenario.  Unless he picks some icehole fundamentalist like Huckabee.  Maybe you don't switch from Obama based on VP, but you certainly have to think about it with the 3x melanoma survivor in his 70s.
