99.9% R keep the senate

also as far as florida goes they have some big referendums including banning offshore drilling, 2/3 threshold for tax increases, of course the felon voting rights restoration and a sneaky important one on banning dog racing

Yeah, Florida has this weird practice of putting all these things as proposed Constitutional amendments.  And they splice together different things to make it even more confusing.  For example, the one for offshore drilling also includes the banning of using vaping devices indoors.  They're a package deal - either both are adopted or both are rejected.  60% must vote to adopt for the amendments to win.

this is happening at multiple black precincts in atlanta

there were issues at one in houston

in detroit they couldnt find the voting machine at another

1st world country

i cant believe people still vote on election day...thats so 1990

my options: 

Early voting
drive a couple miles through the City, park somewhere I don't know where, find the voting operation in a building I'm not familiar with

walk two blocks to my regular polling station

Today I walked down to the polls with my aunt, which was pleasant.  I saw (and thanked) our usual poll workers, some of whom are neighbors.  I waited about four minutes to vote.

Right but I'm not absent.  Or selfish enough to pretend I am.  So I hoof it two blocks on a nice fall morning with my aunt, and see my nice friends at the polling station, and it's all good.

There have been lines at every polling station here.  The good news is people are actually voting.  Whether or not they're voting against their own interests is another kettle of fish.  The weather is nice here btw.  Maybe a little warmer than usual but not too bad.

well if you have no line then it doesnt matter...my voting locations are always swamped so not only does me not being there allow someone else to wait less i avoid having to wait at all
