Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'm feeling pretty optimistic about tomorrow right now. Way moreso than I did a few months back.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

QuoteMax Colvin told me his number-one issue was the economy and jobs. "I think the president has done a terrific job and even though I'm still unemployed that's OK," he said. Colvin, who said he used to read the weather on a local radio station in Macon, thinks the president just needs more time to help him find a job.

"It's not even been two years yet," he said. "All the signs are pointing to a better economy every day and more jobs. Everyone is saying we're going to have inflation but if you have a job and you're making good money do you care what a loaf of bread costs?"

i mean i just dont know how these people operate. i really dont.

My niece is 19 years old and became politically active in this midterm election.  She's been badgering friends and acquaintances to get the vote out.  She's probably making Igy look like Ronald Reagan in her politics.

If that younger demographic shows up in large numbers, it's great news for the Democrats.  If they don't, it's hard to tell what could actually bring them out.

My guess is House to the Democrats, Senate stays Republican.  Most of the polls have Gillum winning Florida, but I'm not sure I buy that yet.  I think it'll be a razor-thin margin either way.  I don't think I can take four years of that douchebag DeSantis.  And who knows between Nelson and Scott.  At least Scott won't be governor!

Well, I'm sure that won't lead to some MAGA doofus shooting a bunch of people at a polling station.

Next year they'll raise the voting age to 45.

theres like a 94% chance of this happening

99.9% R keep the senate
85% chance dems win the house

also as far as florida goes they have some big referendums including banning offshore drilling, 2/3 threshold for tax increases, of course the felon voting rights restoration and a sneaky important one on banning dog racing

doesnt get much bigger than those

Polls are already packed. Stood in line for about 45 minutes. Peaked at the list where they take your names down, it was 75% D. Might have been just that page but voter turnout is definitely high.

MDS

philly has a ton of polling places...mine has 4 or 5 different divisions...so at my specific division i was the 50th person at about 745am. the polling lady said this number with a point of pride.

my hope for tonight is to keep the senate close for 2020 and take the house.
