Also...the Bernie folks...I think they might actually sit out rather than vote for HRC.

Perhaps that impression is just from the most vocal minority of them...I know there were similar voices for Hillary last time...but these folks strike me as more shrill, vindictive, and frankly...stupid.  I think a lot of them are like Rome above:  they hope Trump gets it just so they can say I told you so, or some stupid shtein like that.

The entitlement of the Bernie or Bust morons is a neat little story right now, but those people are a tiny sliver of true believers who aren't interested in government that works. They're only interested in getting their way and the purity of a leftist candidate. Most of them were never going to vote at all so having them stay home has no net impact. The huge majority of Bernie supporters will hold their nose and vote for Hillary, the same way Hillary voters held their noses and voted for Obama in 08.

The key here is how many GOP voters stay home. GOP voters NEVER stay home. They are a pathologically reliable group of voters who just show up and vote down the party line. If people stay home because of Trump that presents a giant opportunity, not just for Hillary, but for down-ticket candidates as well. We're too far out to say for sure, but right now it looks to me like a whole lot more GOP voters will stay home than Berniebros.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

the polls now for Hillary and trump pretty much mirror the polls for Obama McCain before the democratic primary ended....agreed that Hillary has lots of hate directed and that hate may make it a little closer than barry McCain but you have to remember there has never been a more despised candidate in history than trump...not to mention unqualified...

primary voting knuckle draggers have carried trump thus far against a huge spread out field....i I just don't see different voting blocks from across the country coalescing around trump in a way he could win a presidential contest

also we haven't begun to seen the tidal wave of ads that are going to run that show trump lying....contradicting....flip flopping...being a democrat...hating women.....prasing Hillary and the Clintons other republicans saying trump would ruin the country and isn't fit for office ect....there is an unending treasure trove of material with which to bury him in a general...and that doesnt even include what should be train wreck debate performances

in the end the non troglodyte portion of this country will not elect a carnival barker like trump for president of the free world....im usually mr negative....I didn't think barry had a chance....but im not the least bit worried

SD...tell us who you're voting for.  You can be honest.

I'm telling you people, Trump shouldn't be underestimated.

If I'm reading his posts right, MDS is picking up what I'm putting down.  Trump is no joke.  I honestly think HRC is in trouble.

It comes down to this:  despite he's a classless clown whose positions are hardly Conservative or Constant....will Republicans really NOT vote for him AND will they NOT turn out to vote AGAINST Hillary?  I say, no way.  These folks are going to give Trump their support at the end of the day.  Add to them, all the wackos he's bringing out of the woodwork.

Now, to the Dems....who is going to get excited and come out FOR Hillary?  Precious farging few, I promise.  Even the spectre of Trump as President...I don't see that as enough to spur democratic voters to move their asses when it matters.  I think they honestly don't see much of a difference between Hillary and Trump.

Try to assure me all you want, I'm afraid of what's happening.  I think it's a much higher liklihood that Trump wins than most people do, and I'm genuinely scared by it.  What a farging disaster the guy will be.

If your question is am I voting for Trump the answer is no. You can farg off for even asking.

My voting record:
96 Clinton
2000 Gore
04 Kerry
08 Obama
12 Obama

When I went to renew my license, I changed from Democrat to Independent. I was tired of the calls and nonsense plus despite my voting record I am independent. There are candidates on the Republican side I don't mind, Paul and Kasich come to mind.

My all time favorite politician is Bill Clinton. I don't like Hilary in the least, I think she's a shill for corporate America. I believe in voting, so if I didn't live in a swing state, I'd probably write in a candidate. Since my vote will actually count I feel I have no choice but to vote for Hilary.

Geowhizzer

When I first registered to vote a hundred years ago I registered Republican.  I only stay that at this point because it's the only way I get a true choice in local offices (my county is about 150% Republican).  I've voted Democrat for president four of the last five elections.

SD, I get calls from both sides because I belong to the teacher's union.  I want a do not call list for the farging politicians.

Don't underestimate Trump's chances.  Hillary is no more popular than he is, and maybe less so.  And neither party represents the people at this point.  Just different slates of moneyed interests.

Eagles_Legendz

Hillary is neither as popular as Trump, nor as unpopular.

Rome

For the record, and I can't believe I need to actually post this, but I hope Trump dies screaming in a pool of his own piss, vomit and shtein.    I don't want him to be President in the least.  He's a vile, disgusting, racist blowhard liar.

That said, the ugliness in this country has reached a fever pitch and despite a tiny smidgen of hope I had for the future, I can see what's coming a mile away.  This is the end, kids.  Trump is Caligula, he's Napoleon, and to a lesser extent, he's Mussolini... in short, he's what a hideously decadent empire produces in its death throes.  Trump is the penance for all our sins.

My advice:  Buy lots of ammo and stock up on plenty of ready to eat meals.

Yeah it is, and you can farg off for failing to understand why I would ask it.  You're love for women is well known and you think science is a conspiracy.  Trump core supporter by definition.

I'm glad to learn you'll actually vote for Clinton.  I think she will need every vote.

Rome, go read your own posts.  It's Chicken Little over and over again.  We get it, you're down on everything.  Yet you keep going, so shut the farg up.

All of you. shut up.

If you do, so will I.

basically what this is saying is that delco could decide our next president....and thats why im legit scared of a drumpf win.

its definitely not something thats likely, but this country is farging retarded and there are a ton of uneducated white people -- trumps base
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

It's "Your love for women". "You're" is a conjunction of "You are" grammar nazi.

on a tangent:

I think I'm a Mao'ist.

How doesn't all political power emanate from the gun?

Ultimately, you're either dominating somone to establish your order, or you're dominating someone to maintain it when attacked.  If you can't do both, you're done.  It all comes down to violence.

How is this wrong?
