Yeah, and also that he has had a burning hatred for Ukraine, and especially Kyiv, for at least 10 years and probably longer, going back to the orange revolution. There's a fascinating geopolitical history there btw. I recommend Julia loffe if you want to watch some eye opening analysis and you have enough time to go through one of her 1.5 or 2hr segments (Frontline is really good).

I have my own weird speculation, though. I've watched at least 3 to 4 hours of Putin interviews over the last couple of years, and he has a strange mannerism. You especially see this on some longer interviews. Often either his hands or feet are moving, like he has some kind of dyskinesia (eg like a slow rhythmic flexing of his feet). Could be some neurological disorder or maybe more like a side effect of neuro/psyche meds he would be on. You wouldn't expect someone like Putin to be so fidgety. In this kind of scenario, who knows what the hell we are dealing with.

I saw him called Putler the other day, chuckled.  Hitler was increasingly drug addled.  There's footage of him at the olympics tweaking out on meth.

This is a great example of why we really need to keep nuclear weapons from being made by more and more countries.  Once you've got one, the only thing stopping you from invading a smaller weaker neighbor is...well, nothing.  Unless doing so would trigger a nuclear war.  And if you're crazy, even that don't matter.  Yay nukes!

Zelensky's speech today was pretty moving. Especially the video that accompanied it.

He got a standing ovation and I hope it motivates congress to assist more.

I feel the war. Maybe I watch and read too much, but sometimes I really get the gut punch of it all. Just that disillusionment in this day and age there can still be some  farger that can actually bring the large scale atrocities of war back to the planet. And who knows if this is the beginning, mid, or end-time of the war. Might be good for some to inside saboteurs krubmle the kremlin.

Putin isn't the sort to admit a mistake and back off.  He's doubling down and then doubling down again.  He's not stopping until someone puts a bullet through his skull.  I really hope someone does it before something irreversible happens, and not that the wholesale destruction of a sovereign country isn't bad either.    It's horrifying. 

But that little mongoloid has nothing stopping him if he decides to go a non-conventional scenario.

Just saw btw that Germany ordered thirty five US F-35s in the nuclear bomber configuration as part of a massive overhaul which their defence minister stated will be explicitly designed for nuclear war.
