Meet the Press did a great troll job on the current republican presidential candidates and the rhetoric they're spewing yesterday.  They simply rolled out video of George W Bush after 9/11 in speeches continually making a point that the ones committing the atrocities are not the majority, and not representative of a religion.  Amazing to me how far right it's gone when you consider how long its been since our "Attacks". 

It's downright scary when you hear "Databases,walls,camps,papers" being offered as solutions by those running for the highest political seat in this country.

After training in Turkey and entering Syria, the first group of US-trained fighters was ambushed and captured by the Al-Qaeda affiliate Jabhat al-Nusra in August. The second group surrendered to Al-Nusra in September, turning over all their US-supplied weapons and equipment. Only "four or five" US-trained fighters were operating in Syria, Central Command head General Lloyd Austin told shocked lawmakers on September 16.

Sheldon Silver, Ex-New York Assembly Speaker, Is Found Guilty on All Counts

At Mr. Silver's trial, the government presented evidence that prosecutors said showed he had orchestrated two schemes through which he obtained nearly $4 million in illegal payments for taking official actions that benefited a prominent cancer researcher, Dr. Robert N. Taub, at Columbia University, and two New York real estate development firms.

Testimony and other evidence showed that Mr. Silver had arranged to have the State Health Department award two grants totaling $500,000 to Dr. Taub, whose research focused on mesothelioma, a deadly form of cancer related to asbestos exposure.

In return, Dr. Taub sent mesothelioma patients with potentially lucrative legal claims to Weitz & Luxenberg, which then shared a portion of its fees with Mr. Silver.
