I think the biggest problem people have is they see the extreme increase in profits being taken in, the see the extreme increase in CEO pay, but over the last 30 years the wages of the middle class and lower class have remained rather stagnant...and in some cases have actually gone down when adjusted for inflation. So not only are a lot of jobs going over seas, but the ones that are actually kept here aren't being paid livable wages anymore. The money just isn't trickling down....shocking.

While the export of jobs has been disruptive for many workers and communities in the United States, outsourcing has been a powerful economic force. It has often helped lower the prices that American consumers pay for products and created a global supply chain that has made U.S. companies more nimble and profitable

Besides that, the jobs created overseas are zesty jobs that don't pay enough to live on anyway. Long gone are the days where a kid can graduate high school, get a job at the local factory, and retire 30 years later. Let's also bash technological advancements allowing those farging robots to take our jobs, or processes like lean manufacturing which allow wasteful or redundant jobs to be eliminated.

Don't get me wrong Romney is way worse of a person than Obama could probably ever dream to be, but shipping jobs overseas isn't a reason why. If you disagree, take solace in the fact that those jobs will soon be returning to our shores because our population won't be educated enough to do much of anything other than be a cheap source of labor.

Thomas is at least consistent and not utterly hypocritical.  He has ruled the same way on every Commerce Clause case which he has had, unlike Scalia who does whatever he feels like and then smugly lectures others.  Thomas should have recused himself (and Kagan as well), but both were voting the way they were regardless of anything else.  Thomas at least voted the same way in Lopez, Morrison, and Raich.  So while I disagree with a vast number of his holdings, I give him credit for voting the same way regardless of the issue (voting for marijuana rights in Raich).
