by properly i mean that it is not a supplement that works right away.  Im sure you are doing your research, but people these days want instant results and creatine doesn't necessarily work like that.   You need to use it for a while (depending on how much you take) before your cells saturate with it.   You can speed up the process a bit, but I used a 30 day load when starting out.  You also need a proper lifting regimen where you can measure improvements in strength gain and adjust intake.  Otherwise you are throwing money down the drain.

I use N.O. Xplode every morning before going into the gym and I love it. Not only does it wake me up on slow days, but it keeps me pretty focused and helps to pump out a few extra reps. I would recommend starting it slowly until you acclimate to it, and if you are just starting to work out, give yourself some time to get your cardio in order prior to jumping into it.

I still cycle Creatine. I generally use BSN's CellMass with pretty good results. I also like CellTech's stuff, although it can burn pretty good going down. Just make sure your drink A LOT of water. I generally do an ounce of water per pound of body weight a day minimum, adding more for days I run.

I don't mess with those pre-workout supplements, but they definitely do help. I just don't feel like spending the money on it and I feel like they have some negative long-term effects. I got a free trial of some supplement that was both N.O and a thermogenic, my body temp went up really fast over about 10 minutes and my heart rate skyrocketed (and didn't come down for a long time), but it worked. So basically, if you're looking to treat your body like an amusement park you'll have a blast with the stuff.

Yeah I'm a little apprehensive about side effects, especially since I'm pretty twitchy as it is, but internal body experimentation sounds like something different so I'm gonna give it a try.

I've never noticed my HR jump on N.O Xplode when I am resting. I wear a HR monitor every time I work out. You will feel "flush", which is the Nitric Oxide doing it's job. Again, it is something you have to get acclimated to. I would suggest a 1/4 or 1/2 serving the first week you try it. Again, I never use it if I am just doing cardio. Weights only.

That's usually an initial byproduct of drinking a lot of water, or consuming anything earlier than you are accustomed to. Are taking in a lot of protein (shakes, bars, diet?).

Actually I think it has to do with the change in diet, change in protein powder brand and new crap entering my system all happening at once.

I've basically doubled my calorie intake over the last couple of days, which sucks by the way. How do people eat this much all the time? Fatasses.
