Buckhalter is hitting the holes...but there really havn't been holes for him to hit, from my observations...The O-Line isn't doing as good a job run blocking, at least not for a back like a Buckhalter (a power back with no cut backs...or knees). Mahe did pretty good hitting the cut back lanes.

IGY, pay attention here. That's what I believe Beermonkey was referring to. If RENO FRIGGIN MAHE is hitting the cut back lanes well, what do you think guys like Westbrook and Moats would do to those cut back lanes?

lolol...mahe one more carry than he had fumbles...but he was doing a good job hitting the cut back lanes...he had ONE nice run...and that equates to all kinds of cut back lanes all year and thus the eagles offense will be great

i dont even know who moats is yet...as for westbrook i think he will do better than mahe in any lanes.....a lot better....still not sure what your point is...that westbrook>mahe?

Yes, I said the offense would be great all year and cut back lanes would be there all year. That's what I said. Nice try.

I said that the offensive line was creating cut back lanes for Mahe to get. Cut back lanes are pretty common on NFL plays and some RB's hit them very well. Buckhalter, being the type of back he is without any knees, is not going to hit those cutback lanes, thus he hasn't doen very well running the ball tonight.

My comments directed at you were in response to you, earlier in the thread, downplaying the importance of having Westbrook and Moats in the offense, on the field. If Mahe can hit the cutback lanes and get some decent yardage out of it, it's good news. THat means the o-line is opening up some nice holes and lanes for a RB like Westbrook to hit. So, instead of underestimating Westbrook, you should be smart enough to realize that having him in there instead of RENO FRIGGIN MAHE will be a HUGE help to the offense.

Yes, it WILL make that big of a differnce.
