I watch Wheel (and Jeopardy) several nights a week, although I usually watch Wheel with the volume down because the contestants are awful with the screaming and yelling and Pat Sajak is less funny than you.  You can't even see Vanna walking back and forth because she's so farging skinny.  So watching Palin, who has a nice figure, stroll back and forth will be an improvement.  I don't think they're only planning on her being a short term fix though.  They've been advertising this "Be Vanna for a day" contest for a few months now and I figured it's because they were looking for an eventual replacement for her.  Then apparently, talks broke down with her contract so she's on her way out sooner rather than later and Palin will be the band aid until a permanent replacement is found.  I guess that really just makes her the interim letter turner. 

This is riveting stuff.  Almost as awesome as the relish converstation.

my best friend missed the first half of game 6 of the WS to go to a coldplay concert.  seriously.

then we got in a screaming match because i called him a disgrace etc.  can't believe god decided he would be allowed to watch them win the WS live by that rain stoppage.  horrible.
