filing claims with geico is easy...keeping your insurance after that claim is the tricky part...geico really only likes farging with clean records...and if you have one their rates are by far the best...if you dont dont bother even going to them

A lot of it has to do with the amount of claims paid out by a particular company in that city in which you reside.

When I was in PA I was paying less than a hundred for full coverage with Nationwide. I'd had them forever. When I lived in Killeen and drove nothing but Mustangs from 16-24 years old, I never paid over 75 bucks a month for full coverage at that age in those cars.

As soon as I moved to Houston that Nationwide rate jumped from $98 on my Expedition in PA to $285.

The gouging fargs.

I dropped 'em faster than hell. They paid out an assload in the godforsaken city so they're sticking it to people to get their cash back.
