Friends of ours in Sea Isle have an asthmatic son and they run their air conditioner pretty much constantly until winter sets in.  It's weird, I know, but it seems to help the kid.

my place gets hot when its 65 depending on humidity. i have windows only on one side of the building, so I don't get a draft inside my place at all and i face east. sucks!

My neighborhood turns into downtown Baghdad on July 4th.  Fireworks up to 500g are legal in my county.  My neighbor shot of about $1200 worth of explosives last night, and these fuggers were LOUD.  Of course, I had my own as well, but nothing of that caliber. 
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.
