There was a peace group protesting this evening on a street corner here in Daytona.  My daughter asked me why they were protesting the war.  I honestly didn't have an answer for her.  I got to thinking about what a complete waste of time and effort it is to protest something we have no chance of stopping.  The elected politicians that we send to Washington don't have the balls to stand up and be counted for peace, or even if they do the douchebag in the White House simply ignores them (and us). 

I feel bad for her generation because she and those like her are going to inherit the mess we've allowed to be created during the past six years.

It's just outright depressing to think about.  It's become this awful blur that no one seems to care about anymore.  I know I don't.

They're idiots.  They protest every friday down at University of Delaware.  Suprisingly when i see a bunch of stoners in Tiedied shirts, i dont support them.  They want people to honk for peace, what the hell does that solve other than make their high more enjoyable?
