- It's more than a rumor regarding Bentley .Sources have confirmed that he will be an Eagle on Monday

- Koy Detmer and Mike McMahon will be released by Monday

- Jeff Garcia, according to a team source, will be the backup to McNabb

- The Eagles are interested in Shawn Barber

- They feel that Hollis can be an invaluable veteran to the DL and might not trade him or release him because of his experience and the fact that he's cheap.

Shawn Barber, the same guy whose knee is toast, is a bad signing, IMO. Well, I should say it would be bad if they gave him any kind of money more than the veteran minimum.

He's only played in 11 games in the last two years. Not a good sign. Plus he is the tool who ripped the Eagles for not being conditioned and saying that players in Philly had it easy when they played the Chiefs this past year.

Garthia and Donny Mac will have war stories.

Philly chicks should watch out for his girl too. She'll bust you in the grill if you talk to Jeffy.

Good to hear about Bentley, and that it is all wrapped up.

Not sure how I feel about Garthia, he's looked like shtein in Detroit, and they still better grab a QB (Gradkowski) in the draft and get him ready while Garcia lasts.

I have the same question PP54.

They didn't say Barber was a lock. He just said don't be surprised if he ends up here. If they sign Barber, my guess is they also sign another linebacker because IMO Barber would be cheap.

I heard that. I'd take him if he doesn't cost too much and if he can play like he did for most of his career. He'd be a great guy for a rotation, if he can come for a good price. Not necessarily cheap, but not expensive either. Somewhere in between would be perfect.
