There's no way that as a starter, he comes in and gives us 16 games.

- As far as Hollis goes, I think that's not much more than coach speak, talking him up to try to generate some buzz for a trade. I mean, they put out word that they're trying to trade him... and then two days later, he's invaluable to the DL? Not buying that. If he's here in 2006... cool, he can still contribute against the run in the rotation. He's not totally useless... like Gras. If not... cool, don't think it'll be too hard to find an upgrade.

Barber is only a bad signing if they have to give him anything more than a vet minimum and they rely on him to be a significant contributor. If they bring him in here for cheap and let him compete w/ D. Jones for the WIL and look for a SLB in the 1st or 2nd round, than I have no problem with it. If they bring him in here and pencil him as the WIL and keep D. Jones as the SLB, then yeah, it's a bad move.

Hate the idea of adding Garcia, really don't think he has much left and at this point I would rather stick with what we have.

As for Barber, I'm willing to hold off on my opinion till he's signed. Just want to see what kind of deal he gets before I pass judgement.

As for Bentley...and we pray.

snyder is the key here...he is definitely the one behind the delays...he knows he probably cant spend the gobs of money he would like too if there is not a deal...so hes in the ear of tags hard to get something done and dont start free agency until you do

Not only that, the Ethnically Insensitives will probably be one of teams to get bent over the barrel when it's time to cut players to get under the cap. I have to think Danny's dragging his feet for as long as possible to avoid that scenario.

What really sucks is that it's unfair to all the franchises that handled their finances properly.
