Yeah, it was his last games. He was a senior and entering the draft.

The week of the CAA tourney and that round 1 game were a blast.

tyndale is as big a loss as harris...temple might be better but they go into next year with not a big difference btwn the two and if lasalles youngins improve enough they can definitely be better

tyndale is solid but he also does a lot of stupid things. im most concerned next year about a point guard. guzman is inconsistent and christmas will be too important of a scorer to play the point. so if guzman can improve or inge can take that over, temple should be just fine. if not, then we be in trouble.

la salle is still la salle, dooks. they just lost 3 in a row. plus they wont be able to play the same kind of non-conference schedule temple can, so while temple is preppin for the a10 against duke, tennessee, etc, la salle will be preppin against njit and maryland baltimore county.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

ice grillin you

thats lasalles problem next year as well the point guard...elsewhere they have some pretty good young talent...as good as temples....christmas puts temple over the top tho...and im not sure what out of conference schedule means when they play in the same conference...so if lasalle beats temple in the a-10 nothing else would matter

temple playing the harder ooc schedule gets them better for the a10. it worked all the time under chaney and to an extent this year. it even worked for womens team, they played rutgers, duke, stanford, maryland and wound up finishing the season 14-2 and should get an at-large.

lol like any team ha to get ready for the a-10...pre conferences schedules are meaningless when getting ready for a good conference they mean less than nothing in the smaller conferences...temple won those titles under chaney cause temple had better players and a better coach

ooc skeds effect your bubble status in march and thats about it

I thought about it for a minute but I actually agree with this.

Playing a tougher ooc will obviously benefit your team and make them better so MDS does have a point.  But at the same time, it won't necessarily make them any more competetive inside their own conference.  It'd be like if the Eagles were able to schedule all of their non-division games against the Pats, Colts, Steelers, Jags, Chargers etc, etc.  Sure, those would all be good tests for the Eagles and the Eagles could prove they are just as good as anyone, but it still doesn't mean they are any more prepared to go up against division rivals who, 1.  get up for the game.  and 2.  are a hell of a lot more familiar with what you do offensively and defensively.

MDS

i see your point, but one thing that really helped temple go on the nice run in the a10 was the fact that they gave duke a game.

Playing a tougher ooc is definitely good for the team.  And it will help some when you start playing conference games.  But with conference opponents, you're going to get your opponents best efforts day in and day out where I'm sure that Duke probably didn't take Temple quite so seriously.....at least not until later in the game.

ice grillin you

duke has historically played some of the weakest ooc skeds around and you can see what it does to them...theres a million examples of this but it really isnt important enough to pull up...bottom line is players win games not schedules

nova taking it to syracuse...11 3's in the game

nova might be able to get in w/ a loss, but unlikely

dayton escapes st. louis and faces xavier tommorrow. a win there get them in the discussion.
