First round picks...

Donovan - Absolutely
Simon - Qualified No
Bitchell - No Way
Sheppard - Yes
McDougle - Bust
Andrews - Jury still out
Patterson - Incomplete grade

Donovan is the only guy on that list that I would absolutely take again with a first round pick.

To be fair about it, Simon was a good player before he got fat, happy and soft. Sheppard is a good player having a terrible year this year but he still made the Pro Bowl and that isn't bad. Mitchell is a complete waste of a draft pick as was McDougle and the jury is still out on Andrews & Paterson.

Andy has definitely had a checkered past when it comes to first round picks. He's been far more successful in other rounds but so have many, many other teams. In fact, a lot of teams miss big on first rounders, so complaining about the Eagles sordid history is kinda silly.
