ice grillin you

Anyway on Ray Didinger made a great point on Post game live today. He said last year Plummer played very mediocre football. They asked Plummer to do too much. This year Plummer is playing great, and they have an amazingly balanced offense

tru dat

i said all week if plummer doesnt throw a couple picks the eagles have no chance...the birds offense with no running game cannot put together long drives...this puts unbelievble pressure on their d...at this point in time for the most part if the offense doesnt get field positon via something like a TO or a big kick return they dont have much chance
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Maybe we need to just let our defensive guys play both ways...and maybe throw in TO and Westbrook to help out.

I just don't get it. OK, you go 3 and out on the first drive. You'd think that Andy would say that since they are blitzing on every play then he should run the ball. What does he do? THROW THROW THROW THROW THROW. I mean this guy is totally out of control right now. His smugness just drives me crazy. So much that at times I wish for this team to fail just so he can learn his lesson. He's been getting lucky with soft competition the last few years and when we finally have a difficult schedule this team suffers. Much like the NFC championship games minus last year where the Eagles were FAR superior to the Falcons. Someone needs to yell at Andy and it needs to be McNabb. TO can't do it because he's the bad guy. IMO the only thing that could possibly wake Andy up is if his step child Donovan McNabb lets him have it.

Well McNabb needs to be man enough to say "Okay...i'm killing this team with my injury.  I will take one for the team and get surgery."

If we lose to the taterskins and Giants...it's over.  Then for sure...McNabb needs to end his season.

If I were Westbrook I wouldn't want to come back. He's not getting to run the ball nearly enough.

2 yards, 10 yards, 2 yards, 8 yards, -2 yards, 1 yard, 5 yards, 0 yards, 4 yards, 12 yards, 3 yards, 5 yards, -2 yards. That's Westbrook's day on the ground. Perhaps a little more consistency form him and he'd get the ball a little more. Since we're only taking into consideration factors that support our own ranting I'll be the first to say Westbrook is 4 parts suck and 1 part lucky.

You can't base it on today alone.  He hasn't gotten a chance and our O-Line can't run block to save their lives.  We need a new Center and another kick ass guard.

McNabb's injury isn't the problem. Did you see him move today. Forget the incompletions, he moved like the 100% McNabb. He looked fluid, quick, and strong. Not even Tom Brady could complete passes with pressure like that. McNabb had about 2 seconds to get rid of it. I don't care how healthy you are, you won't have success doing that. Even if McNabb had no sports hernia he still would've been 0-13 completions today.

Andy Reid has lost his marbles plain and simple. He wont run the ball because people think he should, his me against the world attitude has cost this team finally. McNabb cant throw the ball effectively enough and yet Reid still doesnt run the ball to help his QB. McNabb for the benefit of the team needs to get the surgery and look foward to next year, this team isnt going anywhere with a debilitated General who cant throw or run.

That's how a running game works for this team. It's not going to be 5 yards, 6 yards, 10 yards, 8 yards, 5 yards, 7 yards. It's going to be up and down since we down have a great run blocking line.

So -2 yards is better than an incompletion. Because it helps the time of posession stat?

You don't even care...because to you this is all Trotter's fault.

WEST is GOD

No, because it opens up the play action. Even if we aren't running effectively, if we run the threat is still there. Just like last week vs the Chargers. We shut down LT, but the play action still worked because the threat is there. If the Eagles would just run it, then maybe they would wear down the defensive line and Westbrook's 5 yards, -1 yards, 6 yards, 1 yards would turn into 5 yards, 8 yards, 6 yards, 10 yards. Part of a running game is to wear down their defensive line, and set up the play action. Then we pass every down their line stays fresh and our play action does nothing so they'll just blitz all day and kill McNabb.

I've tried blaming it all on Pinkston, but it's tough to convince anyone while he's not on the field.

Why can't we just all blame this on Simoneau.  He can be the whipping boy.
