There is no way in hell this team WINS the Super Bowl this year.  NO WAY.
So... why does it matter if they make it to the game or not?

Thats a load of corn poo.  Once you get to the game, anyone can pull off one great game.  See Tampa Bay, they were not as good as the score of that SB.

If they make it to the SB, that means they're playing good and there would be no reason they can't win it.

That being said, no way they even make it there with the recent offensive gameplan, if there even is one.

Syracuse

As this team stands today, they may not even make it to the post season.

The Eagles arent the best in the NFC with damaged goods under center. But also the Giants and others just arent nearly as good as their record.

Honestly, I still have a hard time believing that this team is not a playoff team.  At this point, we're 1 game behind for the best record in the NFC... we've got a favorable schedule down the stretch with 5 out of 8 games at home.  We're looking at 3 straight NFC East games.  It's there for the taking.

My problem is that it's nowhere near good enough for me to just be a playoff team.  The way this team is going, it looks like one and done.  This team NEEDS to be in Detroit playing for it all to even think about this as a successful season.  In no other season have I said that concerning the Eagles but I honestly feel that way now.

I'm as optimistic as they come, and I'll never abandon this team... but if there are some serious changes made, this team has no shot at a SB.  Now, that's not to say that the changes can't be made.  It can't be a coincidence that when we started running the ball yesterday, the offense looked to be moving better than it had all season outside of the Niner game.  I just pray that Andy took notice and adjusts.

McNabb is still the man to lead this team, but i just think unless AR opens his mind to some criticism and take advice from others the offense problem will never be righted. As for this year, i think the Eagles could still win the division but they are not a SB winning team.

The 2001 Patriots were 3-4 after 7 games and had just lost by double-digits in Denver.  Just saying....  :sly

The Eagles probably get into the playoffs. They probably won't have home field advantage. I don't think they even make the SB right now. That said I've seen Andy pull a rabbit out of his hat.

That team also had an injured quarterback that actually was replaced by a healthy player.

Not to mention that healthy QB was just dreamy!  Those dimples... those blue eyes... they were to DIE FOR!  Us?  We've got Neckbeard.  :-\

They also had a coach who knew how to make in-game adjustments and call the occasional running play.

more so than the offense my concern is with the D...what the hell happened? coming into the season we were expected to have our best D possibly ever. the run D wouldnt be the strength we all knew that but even the pass D is crappy this yr.
