The Eagles are still the best in the NFC until proven otherwise. IE: in the postseason.

it is way to early to predict doomsday already. I mean seriously. Thats just unreasonable and irrational.

The bye week came at exactly the right time. Get some nagging injuries times to heal and regroup.

no one is giving a doomsday scenario but to say the eagles are winning their next three is crazy...in fact the next five games is a brutal streak...3-2 would be a great result...putting them at 6-4 and set up for a run over the last six...games that are overall much easier

IGY I actually agree with you.  I hope I am wrong but 3-2 over this brutal 5 game stretch will put the birds in a favorable position.  I doubt very much any team in the NFC will be 8-2.  Couple at 7-3, maybe.  6-4 ain't shabby with a relatively excellent chance to take the next six games - 4 @ the Linc and 2 on the road(St. Louis and Arizona where we all know the Cards will give us a battle).

Last year was our best chance, but if we get to the postseason with all of our impact players healthy, hell yes we can do it.

I just really don't know why everyone thinks the taterskins are so special.

Can anyone point to a game where anyone was really impressed with their offense? Their defense looks suspect at times as well.

The Broncos could be tough, and I'm glad we have the Chargers at home.

I don't think winning those three games is out of the question, and Andy Reid has proved to be very good at game planning coming off of a loss. Most of those games will be close, but I don't see a clear cut reason why winning those three is out of the question.

Yeah, we're still going.  The fact of the matter is, with all the issues we have... everyone else in the NFC still has more holes than we do.

Just gotta start running the damn ball.

i dont think anyone is saying the skins are 'so special'....but if not for a questionable call the taterskins would have won at denver against a 'tough' broncos team

Last year was our best chance

totally agree...it hurts to this day that they didnt win it last year because as much as it could everything went right...the whole year just had a magical aura to it...that happens once every 25 years if youre lucky...

other than mcnabbs injury this year...which in itself is a huge detriment to getting back...the thing imo that is hurting them most is the team chemistry...owens being a miserable prick...westbrook grudgingly going thru the motions a lot of the time and mcnabb being mr pouty is killing this team more than anyone will admit...

When is McNabb being Mr. Pouty?

All's I know is they better get their shtein straight this week. Like Trotter said ... "It's time to start sucker punching people".

SunMo

it seems like every year they have one of these embarassing loses that knocks them down a peg and gets them angry.

i expect them to come out mean, fast, and sharp against the chargers.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Problem is that might still not be enough, if LT gets 180 yds rushing.....
Anyone but Reid.

i wouldnt worry as much about his rushing as his receptions...good god is he gonna eat the eagle linebackers for lunch
