WEST is GOD

I heard on NFL Live that Saban is thinking of rotating QBs in and out during the game. AJ and Gus are going to be the two. What the hell is going on here? That is the dumbest yet funniest idea I've ever heard.  :-D
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

didnt someone else try that, about 5 or 6 years ago maybe longer?

i almost want to say it was the giants with reeves or something.

Diomedes

That's just great.  Maybe they could swap the O-Line and D-Line once in a while, too.  Just for a change of pace, you know.

The punter will get his fair share of work back there too, I'm sure.

WEST is GOD

If they sign Davey, maybe they can rotate 3.

They need to trade for a left handed closer if they're going to make a world series run this year.

Rome

God, I wish the Eagles were playing the Mammals this year.

Talk about an easy win.   :P

PS: You'd think professional teams would have learned after all the boneheaded hirings of college coaches lately (Spurrier, Bitch Davis, et al).

Gene

If memory serves me right Tom Landry did it with Staubach and Morton in the early 70's

They did it in 1971. The idea bombed pretty badly, and halfway through the season they just stuck with Staubach. They wound up winning the Super Bowl, with Staubach as MVP.

Spurrier pretty much did it in his short yet celebrated tenure with the taterskins.

Yes.  It was heralded as the "Cheap and Available" method.

You beat me to it, QB Eagles.  ;)

Alternating QBs was more common back in the 50s, depending on the depth at the position and game situations.
