shtein. I was trying to not get that game, but now I may have to.

Aren't they going to continue the nazi zombies story in the newest Call of Duty?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I'll probably play a demo if they release one on XBL. Way too many war shooters over the years that I'm kind of getting sick of them.

Fallout: New Vegas is coming out this month. I'm excited because I like Fallout, but worried because I haven't yet played a game by Obsidian that was actually complete.

I like the Fallout games, but I prefer The Elder Scrolls games. I liked Fallout 3 so I'll probably get this. I just wish they developed  a more realistic way for enemies to take damage. You shoot them and they move around like they don't feel anything. If they made it so you could take out a leg  to hurt their mobility or if they fell over when shot and had to get back up it would make the gameplay more dynamic.

Gears of War 3 release was pushed back to Holiday season next fall.  No real clear reason, but most likely because they want Halo, CoD, Medal of Honor, Fallout, etc....a year old and getting stale by the time it comes out.

I always thought the Gears of War games were overrated. I enjoy the single player, even though I wouldn't consider it great, but I hate playing that game online. I will say that the GoW games have some great graphics though.

Gears is by far my favorite franchise, but that is because I prefer good single player/story/graphics to online multiplayer. And that being said, I love the Gears story line. I love it enough to nerd it up and buy the books that have been put out over the last year.

I used to highly enjoy playing Gears 1 and Gears 2 online, but ever since I got into playing the CoD's online, I can see why so many people complain about Gears online. The host advantage is terrible as are the lags. They did six title updates to Gears 2 though, and that made it a lot more playable as time went on. There are some rumors that part of the reason why Gears 3 is getting delayed is to try and greatly improve multiplayer. Rumors of dedicated servers and such.

This is very true. When Gears 1 came out, I was a freshman in college as were most of my friends, and I went down to two of my friends dorm room and we played through the story from like 12AM at night til 8 in the morning lol

Gears 2 got the same treatment from me and another friend. We sat down at like 3 in the afternoon, played through the whole storyline on hardcore, then got all the way to the final act on insane. By that time it was 4AM and my eyes hated me.
