Well, there you go. I guess Mussa will let us know.

On an unrelated note, I was really surprised at how short the Halo: Reach campaign was. It wasn't bad, but it went quick.

That's the trend generally, isn't it?

Seems to be, at least for games where multiplayer is a serious component.

Played a few games of multiplayer right away and it was really intense and realistic. Playing with surround sound was kind of crazy, explosions sounds are really good. It's way more of a calculated strategy than the more arcade feeling COD. I tried running and gunin' and got picked off easy. When I sat back and took my time moving and took cover, I did much better. One thing that really stood out was attention to detail. I was taking shoots at a guy in a window and as I missed it was hitting the concrete walls and dust quickly blocked the target for a few seconds. That right there was pretty amazing. Same thing as they take shots at you, debris and smoke/dust go up disorienting you and it really feels realistic. Aiming seems to be pretty accurate. Some games I did good, others I got my ass handed to me. I also noticed when you play as the US forces, you win. I didn't win one game as a Taliban team. Not sure if there is an advantage with that or what.

Single player I went through the first mission and while movement and running and sliding into cover is awesome, taking out enemies takes damn near 3 bullets. Unless you head tap them, they take more than 1 bullet. Sometimes your unloading on a guy close range and they didn't seem to get the timing down right. If I'm pumping bullets into a guy he's gotta be going down. Makes the campaign really weak IMO. I didn't notice the slide into cover feature on the multiplayer, unless I wasn't hitting the right controls, but it would help since there isn't a prone mode, unless I haven't found it on controls yet.

So far its pretty good, I'm gonna really dive into it tonight.

I heard that the American troops are better, but that every once in a while, a Taliban gets to use the suicide vest item, which kills a bunch of the Americans at once.

Ha, thats awesome if so. I wonder if thats a kill streak thing or what. It's really tough to know whats going on at times, seems like there are explosions going off left and right, not sure if its user generated kill streaks or if its just ambiance or what. I'm sure things will slow down once I get the hang of it.

Last night the servers were down for a few hours so i went into campaign mode and it got better. Doesn't seem to be as hard to take guys down now, maybe I'm better at shooting now or something.

Online there are positives and negatives. As you advance and get to the next level it helps you tremendously and its gets easier. Major difference between low level guys and higher level guys. I'm really not quite sure if I like that. I feel like your skill as a player should dictate that regardless of weapons. COD is superior in that aspect. There are only 5 maps. This is just terrible. I rented the game, so I had to pay 800 MS Points to even play online(when you buy it new it comes with a code)! I just feel like it's a rip off of a game to talk it up so much and then give you a game thats half of what you get with COD's and Halo's. 5 maps in pathetic. I'm already starting to learn the maps but I can see it getting really old. My guess is with the online pass for 800 MS points and the small amount of maps, EA is just out to rape you on map pack releases etc...Once again EA fargs the players.

That being said I do really enjoy it so far despite the negatives. It's more tactical that COD. It's much harder but as you progress you get better sights and weapons that make it much easier and fun. I just can't justify buying this game for $60 and then in a month or 2 being sick of only 5 maps they released only to keep shelling out money for maps that should of been in that game anyway. Black Ops additions look so bad ass, and its looking like there might be a zombie mode now ...but I'm not 100% on that.

Played dead rising 2 at my friends house the other night. It was fun finding the purple foot long "massager" and beating zombies over the head with it

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Conclusion on MOH is that it's not worth it, yet. It seems like half the game for the price. 5 measly maps and 2 more for combat missions. The campaign was really cool, but it was the shortest campaign I have ever played. Again, falling short. I can't see paying more than $30 for it. From what I read, they are planning on a ton of downloadable content. So maybe in a year or so, I'll pick it up cheap and download everything that will make it complete.

I really tried not keep the COD game play in my head as I played and tried not comparing them. Melee button is REALLY sensitive. Almost everytime I got close to someone and shot, I unintentionally would always freaking melee in the middle of popping off rounds, and of course 9 out of 10 die because of it. I heard others players bitching about it too. I tried to switch controls around but no options. It's terrible. It would happen in COD, but not that often. Another thing with melee is, you basically have to be in someones face to get them with it. There is no lunge, like in COD and I'm not talking about commando perk. You just sit still. I even tried hitting my own team with it and its just not right yet.

I am almost 100% getting Black Ops. COD is so superior that I can't see playing anything else other than Halo.
