wasnt the da vinci code almost three hours long...maybe because it was so awful it just felt like it but it seemed interminable to me

Not sure, but it was awful and if you hadn't read the book and just watched the movie I have no idea how you followed the movie.

Any of Dan Brown's books could have been written with the help of the Dan Brown Sequel Generator. If you've read any of his books, or even watched one of the movies, you know exactly what happens in the others.

Wrong.

You suck and you know it!

BigEd76

OK...the 80s boobs bring it up to a 3

but cmon, I figured out who the kid's father was as soon as the mom made her first appearance

the rest was basically a ripoff of Back to the Future II

PoopyfaceMcGee

Yeah, and?  It's not a "plot twist" movie where that one thing really matters.

I'm not saying it's an instant classic comedy or anything, but it has a lot of really funny moments.

Legion- couldn't be better or worse. It was what it was...which wasn't that much. Not a
Bad flick to pass the time...zombie kids can be a little freaky but that's about it.

Just checked imdb and Da Vinci Code was 149 min in the theater and Angels & Demons was 139, which I'm a little surprised by because A&D seemed longer and more detailed and was definitely a bigger book.  And SD hit the nail on the head too.....I read the book and still had a hard time following Da Vinci Code.  I have no idea how anyone could follow it without having read the book.  It was by far, the most disappointing movie I've ever seen because I was really looking forward to it.

im sorry but was inception supposed to be good? a meandering 2.5 hours of nonsense dreams and irritating trumpet music. so leo is running around in circles putting himself to sleep then dreaming inside a dream and on and on and eventually what he thinks is reality is actually still a dream? I DONT GIVE A shtein. between this and the kids are all right we are not off to good start this oscar season.

dont get me wrong nolan is a tremendous filmmaker and this was really well done...it was just long as hell and went nowhere. i lost interest 30 minutes in and couldnt even keep track of which level of dreamness they were on. like one scene leo was in level 5 then it would flip to the kid from 3rd rock from the sun in level 3 or something setting off a fireball in an elevator. then next scene cillian murphy is shooting doods with an ak47 on a snowy mountain.

huh? what? hello?

I tried twice to watch it and made it 20 minutes in and shut it off.

thank you

i went back to the posts about this when it came and out and...oh my lord

rome gave it something like a 100000/5 and mussa was going off how people who didnt like it were too stupid to "get it"

all this move did was confirm that chris nolan is a strange dude and that leo dicaprio has great hair
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

thats the exact kind of movie inception is...most people are either going to love it or hate it....the reality is that its probably right in btwn...it was extremely well done as youd expect from nolan...but at times it did play like a jumbled mess and it was way long

not to kill anyone here but im guessing 90% of the reason people loved it was because for whatever reason the reviews were off the charts

if this got middling reviews or mixed reviews it wouldnt have made 600 million or whatever and people wouldnt have come back saying their minds were blown.

and i wouldnt even call it mixed...at times i would call it laughably bad. but despite that the movie was insanely well made because nolan is just an absolute beast. even though it really didnt make any sense and turned out to be a 2 and a half hour dream

It's hilarious watching you guys sting along the bait for someone to come along and defend Inception.

My room mate has it on Blu Ray but I still haven't watched it. Superior.

MDS

its worth watching and not something you need to boycott like i do with star wars and avatar

youre a nerd scifi dude so you would probably actually love it
