but don't you have to be the least bit interested in the subject matter to enjoy it?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

most documentaries i go into either not knowing or not caring at all about the people....but if its a great  story or i learn shtein i never knew before ill like it

for example in the joan rivers story i learned about her husbands suicide and how johnny carson who was one of her best friends never talked to her again once she told him she was getting her own talk show...these things were very interesting even tho i dont care about rivers....problem was the rest of the doc was boring stuff i either knew or wasnt relevatory
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

why people worship that fossil carson is beyond me. rome? anything?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

im sorry but was inception supposed to be good? a meandering 2.5 hours of nonsense dreams and irritating trumpet music. so leo is running around in circles putting himself to sleep then dreaming inside a dream and on and on and eventually what he thinks is reality is actually still a dream? I DONT GIVE A shtein. between this and the kids are all right we are not off to good start this oscar season.

dont get me wrong nolan is a tremendous filmmaker and this was really well done...it was just long as hell and went nowhere. i lost interest 30 minutes in and couldnt even keep track of which level of dreamness they were on. like one scene leo was in level 5 then it would flip to the kid from 3rd rock from the sun in level 3 or something setting off a fireball in an elevator. then next scene cillian murphy is shooting doods with an ak47 on a snowy mountain.

huh? what? hello?

I watched Angels and Demons, read the book so there was an interest. Thought it was a much better movie than Da Vinci Code. Not saying it was all world but I thought it was watchable.

Watched Ben Afflicks movie The Town the other night.

It had me tuned in from start to finish. If you liked the movie Heat, you'll dig it.

I tried twice to watch it and made it 20 minutes in and shut it off.

you would think that when you shut a movie off after 20 minutes in the first time, you dont go back for a 2nd time no?

I wanted to give it another shot since the first time was when I was on the plane and somewhat distracted. But the plane and the surrounding distractions weren't the problem, the movie itself was

It was def better than Da Vinci Code.....both in print and on film.  Although Da Vinci Code would have been a much better movie if it was longer.

wasnt the da vinci code almost three hours long...maybe because it was so awful it just felt like it but it seemed interminable to me
