Wow that is the worst porno ever.  It made me soft.

I thought "The Road" was pretty good but like others said not as good as I hoped.

Oh yeah, and I saw like 80% of Wonderland last week. Val Kilmer plays John Holmes and the movie chronicles Holmes' involvement with a drug ring and some advanced criminal mischief. It really wasn't all that good, but Kilmer as a whacked out Holmes was a pretty intense role. Worth checking out to see him at some of his tragic-character best. Everything else was just meh.

Wonderland was pretty generic, but entertaining. Saw it on a plane and remember liking it, but having no desire to see it again.

Wife wanted to watch Twilight last night.  More awful than expected.  Even 13 yr old girls should be embarassed by that shtein.

I just watched a movie with him in it recently called Felon.  I thought it was a very entertaining movie.....similar to an OZ scenario.  Ill have to check out Moon it is on demand right now.

Saw Avatar last night, I went in with really low expectations and came away very impressed. Just a good overall movie with incredible imagination, scenery, and effects. Obviously the story was one told before, but set against that backdrop it worked fine.

lol...it was generically okay with nice visuals. But incredible imagination? Really? It was Cowboys and Indians and they were after "unobtainium." I mean, it was like it was written by a 13 year old.

MMH

Thank Christ I wasn't the only one who felt that way.  We were MSTing the dialogue by the midpoint.

Creating a whole new world with all sorts of creatures and plants takes imagination, yes.

Couldn't agree more, the visuals were awesome but the movie as a whole sucked.

The world was great, and Cameron basically spent the last thirty years dreaming it up. The script, on the other hand, was MD-esque.

he dreampt up the technology in which to show the world...but as far as inventing a new world...i could come up with a make believe planet and the characters that live on it before the flyer game starts tonight

The color and lighting in that movie was outstanding.  The rest, literally all of it, was merely above average at best.  The script was shtein, most of the acting was unremarkable, etc.

But damn, it was some beautiful scenery for long stretches.
