Miss March -- stupid as hell but it had me cracking up a few times. Hugh Hefner is the only major name in it, and the bouncer from Knocked Up / warehouse guy Darryl from The Office plays a rap star named "Horsed*ck.MPEG"

shutter island reviews are starting to come out and are overwhelmingly positive

peter travers (rolling stone) - marshall fine - todd mcarthy (variety) all great movie reviewers all loved it...as did the hollywood reporter....new york mag is the only review i have found that wasnt overly positive

I'm just going to say it. Shutter Island looks stupid as shtein. I don't care if it is Scorsese and DiCaprio. It looks farging retarded. I'll be very happy to be wrong about that.

i had low expectations because of it being pushed back seven months but it looks great and with these reviews its a winner

it rarely fails me...the key is finding reviewers who share your tastes and generally you really cant go wrong

no different than having a friend or co worker who looks at movies in the same light as you and enjoys the same kinds of pictures telling you ______ was great and you would love it

shtein if there was someone on this board i found to have similar tastes as me id see a movie because of a review they put in this thread

unfortunately this boards tastes mostly mirror that of a 22 year old acne scarred recluse who only stops playing tom clancys ghost recon to go downstairs for another pudding pop

seeing or wanting to see a movie is hardly a "life decision"

that said, igy is spot on.  i have similar taste in movies to several people here.  if they see something (say inglorious basterds for example) and say they like it, then i bump it up to #1 in my netflix queue.  i sure hope that decision doesn't come back to bite me in the ass and haunt me for the rest of my life.  OH THE HUMANITY!

im not surpised at all...it has nothing to do with eagle fans...this board is nothing more than a microcosm of the american public at large

its why we get seven transformers sequels 45 vampire movies a year and clash of the titan remakes
