His major fault, he's a devils fan.

Watched Terminator Salvation.  No where near as horrible as i had read the some reviews here and other places.  Should have been better, but overall it was worth the watch.

I liked it. Only thing that looked fake was the cgi of Arnold. They coulda' done better with that.

Movie had all the potential to be great, but it def wasn't. I'm a sucker for apocalyptic settings so I enjoyed it for what it was.

The story was convoluted and boring.  The acting was worse.  The only (and I mean ONLY) thing that saved that wretched movie from being the equivalent of two hours of cinematic root canal was this:

zombieland - love that it was straight and to the point...when was the last time you saw a non documentary that was under an hour and 25 mintutes...jokes were about 50/50 funny to dud...not a good ratio and the bill murray cameo was awful but the movie never completely fell apart

4/10

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I have to agree that the Bill Murray bit was pretty cool. Nothing surprising after the fact, but it was still worth a few chuckles.

woody harrelson was mildy amusing when murray first showed up but the part where he got shot and was dying is so not funny i dont really have words to describe it except while i was watching it i felt uncomfortably bad for everyone involved in the scene

So the last 10 seconds of the scene being average (yeah, that gray area that you always fail to acknowledge) make it horrible?

No.

500 Days of Summer.  It was very clearly better than almost every romantic dramedy/comedy you'll ever watch and deserves credit for that. In parts it reminded me of Eternal Sunlight of the Spotless Mind (a movie that I really like) in its use of flashbacks, and the performances by both leads were excellent and in its own way it was an above average movie. But it was still a romantic comedy and I will never ever have the inclination to watch it again.

In other words, it was a bronze medalist in the Special Olympics. One of the better movies in an unbearably bad genre.

You should probably do us all a favor and stop mentioning any comedies you've watched. They're not your thing.

The man. The myth. The legend.

the only reason I even rented Zombieland in my hotel room was because of some of you knuckleheads raving about it...and I have to say I wasnt impressed at all as well. entertainment factor stayed in check as I wasnt bored, I'm a big Harrelson fan and his sidekick was pretty good...but the comedy rating definitely wasnt warranted for the hype it got

saw Hurt Locker on the same night--bomb piece. give me more war movies.

Wait, does Woody Harrelson have 'big fans'? Who knew?
