i know what you mean.  when it comes to movies like that, i can over look a lot of the "unbelievability" that's going on, but i was actually turned off by it in the beginning of the movie when dook was driving a bread truck and keeping up with a viper.  the only part of the actual plot that had had any signs of intelligence to it was the fact that dude was hunting his dad.....but i figured that out about halfway through.  to me, it looked like a movie aimed at the teenage demographic.  anyone over the age 20 that liked that movie enough to want to watch it again is a farging moron.

also watched role models the other day too.  was slightly better than what i expected.  i was expecting a couple laugh out lout moments randomly spread out among failed attempts at comedy but i at least chuckled my way throughout much of the movie and it did have some good laugh out load moments.

the sturdy wings lady was very over the top and not funny though.  the mid evil virgins running around stabbing each other with foam swords was hilarious......especially if you've ever gone to a renaissance festival.  it's like a star trek convention for the 1300's.

mclovin was funny.

saw outrage the other night. infuriating, but really well done. this country really blows.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I saw invention of lying the other day.

It was pretty horrible.

i've heard that too......basically the first 20-30 minutes are pretty funny and then it goes straight down the crap hole.

It felt more like a chick flick for the second half of the movie then a comedy.

I've seen some bad movies, but I got up and walked around outside a few times.  I've never done that before.

Transformers 2 -- it wasn't as bad as everyone kept saying but 2:30 or whatever it was....too long
Marley & Me -- sad ending but the rest of the movie = meh

Push - 3.5/5 - Best cheesy Hong Kong action flick with an absurdly American main cast I've seen in a long time!

Dakota Fanning - The hell? Solid acting even in a campy flick like that, plus give her a few years and I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

BigEd76

Slumdog Millionaire -- probably not something you'd watch more than once, maybe twice to review details, but it was good

Paranormal Activity 3/5

Competently made but just not that scary.

Anyone see Frailty?  Might watch that tonight, wondered if anyone had an opinion on it.

Zanshin

Saw it. Remember liking it. It won't change your life, but it's entertaining.

Eagles_Legendz

Solid.  I normally can't stand mcconaughey but the movie got pretty good reviews and I want to see a decent "scary" movie tonight.

Sgt PSN

just saw final fantasy.  completely predictable and no boobies.  fail.
