Avatar does look like a flick I'd spend $$$ to watch.

"Notorious" - it was alright but seemed like just your usual made-for-TV biography movie

4th Kind

I give it 8 out of 10.

It was entertaining. Cool story. It was a blend between Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity without the Vertigo. Cool if you're into UFO/Extraterrestrial type of shtein.

I disagree with your rating Mussa.

At least 4 of 5.

Entertaining from start to finish. What was specially cool about that movie is that non-start trek fans could have walked into that movie knowing nothing of its history and still could have enjoyed it.

Action scenes were great, development was great. Planets blew the farg up...it was great from start to finish, which is rare now days.

I'll go with that. I actually thought it ended too quickly I wanted to see more.

Blindside: 6/10

We were at the mall today and caught the 4:10 showing to waste some time. I was shocked to find out the 2:40 show was completely sold out. I heard this while we were waiting in line to get into the current showing. A line? For Blindside? Color me shocked.

It was way less cheesy than I thought it would be, but was predictable. The guy who played Oher was pretty good, as was the kid who played SJ (Tuohy's kid) and Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw.

A good, entertaining enough flick that I enjoyed more than I thought I would. I haven't read the book yet, so I wonder how much of the movie was "Hollywoodized".

Fantastic Mr. Fox- 6.5 of 10

Based on a book, has slow character development, literally about 2 or 3 funny scenes, and you don't really start getting into the movie until half way in...and at that point, you can't wait for it to end.

The Wrestler- 6.5 of 10

Let's just say it did not live up to the hype and I was disappointed. At no point during the movie were any of my emotional strings tugged in any way. Nice story about a lifetime wrestler and how his life has turned out...but it didn't do anything for me. Just like Jessica Alba. Sorry.

My girlfriend now has the right to select a few girly movies that are going to suck because I went 0-2 in these last two picks. Sandra Bullock, here I come. :(

2012

A+

its awful but you knew that. see high/drunk with some buddies. you will not be disappointed.

also i jewed my way in for free and led a booing of glenn beck, yelled "racist" and got a laugh. i dont win a whole lot, but that felt good.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i dont really do sci fi but all the reviews (which were universally great) for this film said the same thing....in fact with the field being expanded to ten this year theres a decent chance this film could be nominated for best picture

Wow, I thought the part with his daughter was crushing.

Anyway, I saw Michael Clayton again the other day and each time I see it the more I appreciate how great of a movie it was. It might be Clooney's best. Wilkinson is great too.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

That is one of the dumbest movies ever.  I never got all of the hype that this movie got.  This is a movie that people either love or hate, I am clearly part of the latter.
