I ditched the g/f and daughter and went to the theater solo...cause that's how I like to roll.

You like to pitch for home run derbies, don't you?

Tomahawk

I find it extremely difficult to believe that a movie starring Rowdy Roddy Piper didn't age well

They Live is timeless and everyone knows this.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

No cheesy action movie from the 80s has aged well, but they're still awesome.

The man. The myth. The legend.

They Live might be the definition of awesome.

They live was indeed awesome. And I recently saw it again, and it's still awesome. Cheesy, low-budget awesome, but awesome nonetheless. Big Trouble in Little China falls into the same general awesome category.

And to round out the trio, Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon. The cheese in these movies never goes bad.

The man. The myth. The legend.

big trouble is a validly great movie with real live hollywood actors and is not even close to being in the same league as they live

swamp thing would be a decent comparison to big trouble

they live is straight garbage

big trouble in little china was on bravo over the weekend.  good flick.

police academy was on as well.  i farging love that movie.  for the most part, it's aged fairly well.  the only part of the movie that's kind of stuck in the 80's is micheal winslow's video game noises.  basically, if you've never played atari then you probably won't get the humor in a lot of the noises he makes.

I loved Swamp Thing...but by your own definition, it's more like They Live. Swamp Thing was comprised by B actors through and through.

neither are as good as big trouble but im saying swamp thing is more comparable because at least its a good bad movie

big trouble = good movie

swamp thing = bad good movie

they live = bad bad movie
