Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Star Trek was good, didn't really dig the time travel part of the plot, even though the explaination was suitable. Caught it in IMAX. For a prequel they did it right. I think the last one I saw was the search for Spock. This one was more fast paced and the CGI was very good. Also think they went a little too far with how the crew of the Enterprise was assembled. But oh well, it was entertaining.

Walked out of the theater and Wolverine was playing so I checked it out. Big old meh. Cast of characters was good, and it starts out decent, but the CGI sucked. It turns into a cheesy B movie type you'd see on the Sci-Fi channel. Glad I didn't pay to see it.

Watched Frost/Nixon today. Very good. Nixon was such a freakshow.

Saw Star Trek again this time with the family.  The wife dug it and so did the little princess although a couple of the scenes scared the shtein out of her.

The theater was packed too.  It was actually more crowded today than it was last Friday.

I ditched the g/f and daughter and went to the theater solo...cause that's how I like to roll.

Just finished The Wackness. It was remarkably good. I really enjoyed it and Ben Kingsly gave a silly good performance that I hadn't heard anything about ahead of time.

My guess is that anyone that was in high school on the east coast in '94 and smoked weed would enjoy it.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I saw Star Trek today.  I thought it could have been better, but the overall tone hit the mark nicely.

Also, it has to be mentioned that the soundtrack is farging dope. Early 90s hiphop throughout.

Ditto. Not sure it lived up to the hype....but I did think it shed a little light on the direction Lost is headed, for whatever that's worth.

I almost forgot. I caught the second half of Zombie Honeymoon. Strange but zombie-themed, so of course I dug it.

Talk To Me: I checked this out last night on HBO because it had Cheadle in it. He portrayed a DC radio host back in the 60s-70s and did his usual great job. Not a great movie, but an enjoyable watch.
