tv is a disgrace....ive regularly watched only two shows (king of queens, the wire) in probably the last 15 years...since cheers was still on

I've never seen The Wire so I can't comment on that, but there have been at least a dozen shows in the last 15 years that were better than King of Queens. 

Scrubs immediately comes to mind as that is one of the funniest shows in the history of everything.

haha, i was laughing about that earlier today.  i have sandbags now...

i did just get done shoveling snow for 3 hrs. that shtein is so heavy i had to dig it with a dirt shovel to break the ice.  ahhhhhh my back is jello.

Saw Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy in bits in pieces over the last few days.  I read the books when I was a kid, but I don't remember them well enough to know if the movie was faithful to them...but I wasn't impressed.  Visually, it was nice to look at in parts, and the concept of the movie wasn't bad.  But I didn't think it was implemented all that well.
