I have Army of Darkness to watch soon

You haven't seen it yet?  Fix that TONIGHT.

I watched "Thank You For Smoking" tonight.  Well-done.  Quite entertaining.  I doubt Tom will let Katie play anyone that promiscuous ever again, but her acting is weak anyway.  Eckhart actually managed to carry this film, and I was impressed.   This would be a good one for people on both sides of the "public smoking" debate to see.

4/5.

Just got done watching X3 on DVD. Still a :cfhead :cfhead :cfhead movie. Not too big on the menu setup they slapped on it, though.

I did watch Army of Darkness, I forgot, it was the Evil Dead that I didn't watch yet. Def. not as good as Army of Darkness, but had its moments. 2.5/5

I thought it was pretty good, but I agree 2 was better.

I thought it was OK... kinda disappointing... 2 was definitely better.  I did like X3 more though the second time I watched it.

I watched Brick the other night. I liked it, partially because the main character is a nerd. But I thought it would have been better if it wasn't supposed to be taking place with highschool kids as the characters.

Either way, I want to watch it again without having to pay attention to every little detail just to understand what's happening.

As a follow up, I watched Brick again and liked it A LOT more the second time. The first time through I liked the main character but that was about it. The second time through I thoroughly enjoyed it. 4/5

QuoteCruise and Kidman Ruined 'Eyes Wide Shut', Kubrick Told Ermey
Stanley Kubrick thought his last movie Eyes Wide Shut was a "piece of s**t" that was ruined by interference from its stars Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, according to actor R. Lee Ermey. Ermey starred in Kubrick's Full Metal Jacket and remained in contact with the legendary film-maker up until his death in 1999. When the pair spoke shortly after Kubrick had completed work on Eyes Wide Shut, Ermey recalls the legendary director expressing his disappointment with the movie. He says, "Stanley called me about two weeks before he died, as a matter of fact. We had a long conversation about Eyes Wide Shut. He told me it was a piece of s**t and that he was disgusted with it and that the critics were going to have him for lunch. He said Cruise and Kidman had their way with him - exactly the words he used. He was kind of a shy little timid guy. He wasn't real forceful. That's why he didn't appreciate working with big, high-powered actors. They would have their way with him, he would lose control, and his movie would turn to s**t." Kubrick died in Hertfordshire, England of natural causes in March 1999.
