Superbad - what a funny farging movie, i was laughing my ass off.

the jason bourne series - i wont even attempt to grade each one individually as there isnt much to seperate them...i watched all three in a row and it basically seemed like one long movie...it was extremely well done and paul greengrass is a monster no cgi action director...his editor (if it isnt himself) deserved an oscar for these films....overall they reminded me a lot of the new bond movie that daniel craig last year did but better

7.5/10

the namesake - about an arragned indian married couple moving to america to try and live the american dream and everything that comes with it....movie takes place over 30 years so you seem them as a hardcore indian couple raising kids in america and the cultutal differences that arise...in the end tho its not only where youre from its where youre at...excellent performaces especially by the two people who play the parents make this a must rent

7/10

rob zombies halloween - pretty good half prequel half remake...certainly did justice to the franchise (which is by far my favorite of the horror franchises) but nothing special...

5.5/10

sicko - very well done but not nearly as entertaining as moores other two well known docs mostly because you dont have the comedy in sicko that you found in columbine or farenheit...it much more ander inducing than the others...more along the lines of roger and me...contains some absolutely staggering facts about americas health system vs other countries

7.5/10

No you weren't.

Seabiscuit36

SuperBad was awesome, yesterday I watched Grandma's Boy with my brother and dad, it was funnier than Superbad

Grandma's Boy is very funny, but not funnier than Superbad

Different humor i guess.  Either way, i love both movies, and boobies

AVP: R- retardedly bad, but still kind of good. compounded by seeing it at 1045 in manyunk with a bunch of scumbags.

mean streets- pretty good, but not great. didnt have too much of a plot.

idiocracy- i need to see this again, but it was kind of brilliant the first time over. at least for the anti-corporate america, everyones a farging moron crowd like me.

for your consideration- misfire by chris guest

keeping up with the steins- you have to be jewish to get this, its about bar mitzvahs. but it also about father/son issues and thats when it went downhill. by just being a movie where they made fun of the ridiculousness of bar mitzvahs, it would be alright for jews. but they went with this serious angle in the second half of the movie and it was brutal.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

i thought it was pretty good, but then Best In Show happened to be on the other day and i remembered how good his movies can be and it lowered my opinion of For Your Consideration somewhat

yea i rewatched that too and its absolute gold. it wasnt a bad movie, just not the standard that youre used to with guest.

i think Parker Posey and her douchebag husband, both with braces, are the best characters in that entire movie

painted veil - most of you will say this should be in the men should act like men thread but it was a very well done love story and i enjoyed it...plus naomi watts is delicious....if she had a body shed be off the charts...ed norton is great...as always

being that i frequent a few message boards, i noticed that the nerd factor on Blade Runner being re-released is pretty high.  has anybody ever seen it?

i never even really heard of it, but i read about it on Wiki and it sounds interesting.  it certainly sounds as if it attacts the typical Trekkie, Star Wars nerd following.
