he did go on a nice little run of one word titled movies there, that was impressive

I noticed a while back that Steven Segal did the same thing with his movies.  Damn near all of his movies have 3 word titles:

Hard to Kill
Fire Down Below
On Deadly Ground
Above the Law
Marked for Death
The Glimmer Man
Out for Justice
Half Past Dead
Into the Sun
Out of Reach
Today You Die
Flight of Fury
Under Seige 2

It's just pure craziness.

I just watched the trailer for "Iron Man".  Surprisingly, Robert Downey, Jr. seems perfect for the role of the alcoholic, womanizing Tony Stark.

But for serious... it looks pretty cool from a "white and nerdy comic fanboy" perspective.

Anyone seen this shtein? Could be rather awesome.

Wasn't that one of the movies on the list you posted the other day?  Looks decent but it reminds me too much of the ending to The Departed because people die.

*edit* went back and found the link you posted, clicked on it and saw it was the first movie listed.  I rule.

i said the same thing about the Wizard of Oz
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Well I was talking about the trailer specifically, but you're still an idiot.

SD, I haven't read much about it either but no one seems to know anything about what the monster is. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

ice grillin you

the ironman trailer looks unbelievably awful.....the cloverfield looks like it has some potential but will probably end up being a run of the mill action movie like transformers
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Magical_Retard

the new hulk movie....the screenplay is written by edward norton himself.

i know CGI sucks and its one of the reasons i can not get into spiderman much myself (they over use it) but i dont know the hulk seems like it might be good.

Marge: I have someone who can help you!
Homer: Is it BATMAN!!??
Marge: No hes a scientist
Homer: Batman is a scientist.
Marge: Its not BATMAN!

That's a shocking assessment from you!

even if you like that kind of shtein you cannot seriously think that trailer was good...its looks beyond ridiculous...

theres lots of movies i have no desire to see but can still think the trailer is well done...that is not one of them

Some people like their comic nerd movies "beyond ridiculous", no?

Anyway, the trailer for Spider-Man 3 had me excited, and the movie was an abomination beyond even the widest stretches of my imagination.  So, ultimately it probably has very little to do with actually liking the movie.

In a twist of irony, you'll like the movie and I won't.
