rjs...I thought Finding Neverland was awesome. Good news for you...the little boy from that movie is playing Charlie in Willy Wonka.

That certainly is promising... although I must say that I'm having more reservations about Charlie and the Chocolate factory than I expected to. Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka just isn't clicking for me... whatever, I'll still pay $8.50 to see it, so who cares.

Having seen the trailers, he looks PERFECT for it. I can't wait. Creepy, yet funny and odd all at once. That's Depp.

Saw Batman returns last night...ill give it a 8/10.  I thought it was right up there with the first Batman, its hard to say which was better because they were so different.  the first batman i got a comic book feel, the new one, it seems like a regular movie, until he gets into the suit.  The action was great, im not sure why people bitched about the fight scenes, i though they were excellant.  Id def recommend seeing it.  My girlfriend even liked it and shes not thrilled about action movies.
Stayed for about 1hr of Stars Wars 3, wasn't that impressed, im sure it gets better, but it was cheesey at times.  Watching two long movies back to back at a drive in is a hard thing to do, especially when you run out of beer.  so we left.

WotW tomorrow for me. Got great reviews on rottentomatoes.com. Every one was positive. I'll make my own tomorrow.

WEST is GOD

The ending in the original was never any good, from what I hear it's basically the same ending.

Be fair, remember that book was written by Wouk when religion still mattered in every day life.
The results of an alien invasion by forces capable of interstellar travel would much more resemble War of the Worlds than Independence Day.

No, man.  There's hope:  I was responding to the title of the thread, not your comment.  I'm a little late to the circle jerk.

If I had any inclination to sit and be angry at Russell Crowe for 2+ hours I would take them up on their offer. I'd rather not waste my time or their money.
